Andrew Dice Clay -ANDREW DICE CLAY is proud to be one of America’s most controversial and outrageous comics in history. In 1990 he became the first comedian to sell out Madison Square Garden two nights in a row. Real easy tale to tell, last night Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” Carlino’s Pizza Bar and the joint’s food blew us away! Inside table seating, reasonably priced salads/ pastas/ whole and by the slice pizzas/ subs/ chicken wings and tenders/ pastas/ entrees/ chocolate chip cookie menu, full eat at liquor bar, tons of flat screen tvs.

Just between me and you guys, “seeing” Don McLean in concert is on my bucket list…

Personally, I think that McLean’s song American Pie is one of the greatest folk songs ever written!

Over the years, I’ve seen many of the greatest folk singers/songwriters of all time. In no particular order, just for starters, the list includes, Peter Paul & Mary, Simon & Garfunkel, Cohen, Baez, Dylan, Woody Guthrie, Arlo Guthrie, Mitchell, Collins, Seeger, Taylor, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, The Weavers, Cash, Lightfoot, Donovan, The Byrds, Chapin, Denver, King, Simon, Ronstadt, Chad Mitchell Trio.

Real simple tale to tell, yesterday afternoon Jeff Eats and three business associates ate lunch at Albelo’s Sub Shop and its food absolutely killed! Inside table seating, order-pickup at counter, reasonably priced hot & cold subs/ soups/ salads/ quesadillas/ specialty fries/ desserts menu.

Just between you guys and me, Albelo’s Sub Shop is playing at a whole-other level than most of Florida’s sub joints. Personally, I’d rank it as one of the best that I’ve been to!

A homeless man walks into a bar and tells the bartender, “ If you give me a free drink, I’ll show you a trick that will blow your mind.”

The bartender is naturally skeptical and says, “ Show me the trick first and if it blows my mind I’ll give you that drink.”

The homeless man reaches into his pocket and pulls out a mouse and sets it on the bar. The mouse runs down the bar to the bar’s piano and starts running along the keys, playing a tune.

The bartender is suitably impressed and gives the homeless man a free drink.

The bartender wasn’t sure how the homeless man could outdo the piano playing mouse, but he says, “ If you can top that mouse, I’ll let you drink free all night.”

The homeless man smiles and reaches into his other pocket and pulls out a frog that proceeds to sing along to the tune the mouse is playing.

The bartender says,” Okay, you’re drinking free all night.”

Another patron of the bar approaches the homeless man and says,” I’ll give you five hundred dollars for that frog right now!”

The man gives him the money, picks up the frog and walks out of the bar as happy as a clam.

Customers can get a free doughnut with a purchase of a beverage on Friday.

Dunkin’ has also partnered with the appropriately named singer Jelly Roll to celebrate the holiday with doughnut-themed merchandise on its website. It’s also selling a limited-edition doughnut-shaped sponge for $9.98 it produced with Scrub Daddy.

Krispy Kreme
The chain is making it easy to celebrate: Any of its regular doughnuts, like glazed or cake, are free with no purchase necessary. (It’s limited time Dolly Parton-themed treats are excluded.)

Plus, it’s selling a dozen of its glazed doughnuts for just $2 with the purchase of a regularly priced dozen of doughnuts.

National Burger Chain Closes Restaurants, Might Be Filing For Bankruptcy

The long list of restaurant chains closing locations due to financial reasons keeps growing. Now, joining the likes of Red Lobster, Pizza Hut, Boston Market, TGI Fridays, Popeyes, Tijuana Flats, Cracker Barrel and Applebee’s in shuttering locations, is national burger chain BurgerFi, and also like some other companies, they might also be filing for bankruptcy soon.

The chain which now has 120 locations across the country, closed eight restaurants recently as part of an effort to boost efficiency. The move follows 14 other locations closing last year. In an earnings call, the company explained, “We continue to evaluate our portfolio with a close look at cash flow and profitability.”

The company has been struggling recently. In April, they defaulted on their credit agreement and in January, their stock was delisted from NASDAQ. In a press release, they stated that there are “several key initiatives with the goal of enhancing the company’s prospects and ensuring stable management as the company goes through the process of reviewing strategic alternatives.” However, they added that “there can be no assurance, however, that the strategic review process will result in an outcome favorable to the company or its stakeholders.”

Essentially, the company may need to declare bankruptcy, and they’ve filed documents with the SEC explaining that bankruptcy is a possible outcome. As of now, there is no official word on if more closings or a bankruptcy are in BurgerFi’s future.
