Just a taste…

For the first time ever, Stars of the Sixties brings Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone to the stage of the Ormond Beach PAC, giving you a rare chance to see this icon up-close and personal in an intimate concert experience. Heavy on hits, the iconic British pop star carries a playlist that will transport you back in time to the happy days of the 1960s. Known on both sides of the pond for songs like “I’m Into Something Good”, “Mrs. Brown, you’ve Got A Lovely Daughter”, “I’m Henry VIII, I Am”, “Silhouettes”, “Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat”, “Wonderful World”, “Just A Little Bit Better”, “There’s A Kind of Hush”, “A Must To Avoid”, “Listen People”, “No Milk Today” and “The End of the World,” ultimately, Herman’s Hermits sold over fifty-two million recordings. In all, fourteen singles and seven albums went gold. As “Herman”, the photogenic Noone graced the cover of nearly every international publication including Time Magazine. The 1990s found Peter embarking on a four-year stint as the winsome host of VH1’s My Generation, the highest-ever-rated half hour retrospective of pop/rock music. Accompanied by his band, Noone currently performs over 200 concerts a year in addition to hosting “Something Good” on Sirius XM 60s on 6. Peter consistently plays to sold-out venues and his admirers span the generations. If you’re a teenager of the 1960s or just love good music, don’t miss one of the most energetic and fun-filled rock and roll shows you’ll ever see.

***** Gramma’s Bakery, 14466 S Military Trail, Delray Beach, Florida 33484, (561) 496-0185.

Got an absolutely terrific bakery for you guys, Gramma’s Bakery in Delray Beach.

Gramma’s is owned/operated by The Boys Farmers Market- which is one of Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats favorite “markets” to shop in…Jeff Eats got a whole bunch of Boys’ “reviews” if you’re interested!

Gramma’s is a hole-in-the-wall retail joint. The “baking area” is in the back of the store. Jeff Eats is thinking (actually knows) that many of the items carried in The Boys’ bakery- is baked at Gramma’s which is a 2 minute walk from The Boys and vice versa (that’s how it usually works!)

Trust Jeff Eats when I tell you that Gramma’s baked goods are absolute dynamite- and super-reasonably prices. The joint’s selection covers the full gamut…cakes, cookies, pastries, breads, so on and so forth…The odds are, that you will find what you came for and leave with “it” and other stuff- that you didn’t come for!-happens to Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats each and every time!

Gramma’s Bakery is definitely one of the best bakeries in South Florida.

Gramma’s is open 7 days a week 9am-5pm.

One final thought, for you Brooklyn guys out there who might be “missing” Ebinger’s Bakery…for sure it’s not the real deal- but trust Jeff Eats, Gramma’s chocolate cake will- get you through the day quite nicely!

Andrew Dice Clay -ANDREW DICE CLAY is proud to be one of America’s most controversial and outrageous comics in history. In 1990 he became the first comedian to sell out Madison Square Garden two nights in a row. That same year he played the lead role in the comedy-mystery film “The Adventures of Ford Fairlane” and has starred in numerous classic 80’s films such as “Pretty In Pink”, “Casual Sex” and many more.

Over the last few years, Clay’s role in Woody Allen’s “Blue Jasmine” got critical praise for his role alongside Cate Blanchett and Alec Baldwin. He’s had recurring roles on HBO’s hit show Entourage and Martin Scorsese’s Vinyl. His latest film “A Star Is Born”, written and directed by Bradley Cooper, was released last October where Dice plays Lady Gaga’s father.

Vanilla Fudge -Vanilla Fudge stands out as an iconic American rock band, renowned for their masterful reinterpretations of contemporary hit songs, notably exemplified by their rendition of “You Keep Me Hangin’ On.” The original lineup boasted exceptional talents, including Mark Stein, Tim Bogert, Vince Martell, and Carmine Appice. Presently, Vanilla Fudge continues to captivate audiences on their tour with three of the original quartet: Mark Stein, Vince Martell, and Carmine Appice, complemented by Pete Bremy, who assumed Tim Bogert’s role upon his retirement in 2009.

Beyond their musical prowess, Vanilla Fudge occupies a pivotal position in music history, often recognized as a critical connection between the realms of psychedelia and the burgeoning heavy metal genre. The band’s far-reaching influence extends to major acts like The Nice, Deep Purple, Yes, Styx, Led Zeppelin, and Uriah Heep.
