The Habit Burger Grill Opening Fifth Florida Location in Boca Raton

Iconic fast-casual concept that was named “Best Tasting Burger in America”

(IRVINE, CA – December 9, 2016) – The Habit Restaurants, Inc. (Nasdaq: HABT), will open the doors in Boca Raton on December 21 to its fifth Florida Habit Burger Grill. A leading consumer magazine named Habit Burger Grill the “Best Tasting Burger” in the nation out of 65 burger chains that were reviewed. The restaurant will officially open on Wednesday, December 21, at 10:30 a.m. at 5560 N. Military Trail, Boca Raton, FL.

Habit Burger opened its first Florida location in Delray Beach in 2015 followed by Miami, with locations in Royal Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens opening this year, with a sixth location to open soon in Orlando.

The public will get a preview of the popular menu during “Free Burger Day” on Thursday, December 15 and Friday, December 16 and from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m., during which the first 200 people will enjoy a free Charburger, fries and a regular drink. The restaurant will offer “Free Habit Day” on Sunday, December 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. and on Monday, December 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. during which the first 200 guests will enjoy a free chargrilled meal from one of the Habit Burger Grill’s preset menus.

The Habit Burger Grill in Boca Raton is a 2,500 square-foot building seating a total of 88 guests including indoor and patio seating. The company distinguishes itself in the fast casual better burger segment with its signature Charburger, menu variety and value.

“Florida will now be home to five Habit Burger Grills, four of which are located in Palm Beach County. Two great Classic Rock Bands, Vanilla Fudge and The Yardbirds together in the same night!

The Yardbirds have a long and storied history, and were part of the “British Invasion” of bands that broke out of the UK in the 1960s. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992 and were included in Rolling Stone’s list of the “100 Greatest Artists of All Time”, as well as VH1’s “100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock”. Their hit songs include; “For Your Love”, “Train Kept A Rollin”, “I’m A Man”, “Heart Full Of Soul”, “Evil Hearted You”, “Shapes Of Things”, “Over Under Sideways Down”, “Mister You’re A Better Man Than I”, and many more.

Vanilla Fudge was one of the first American groups to infuse psychedelia into a heavy rock sound to create “psychedelic symphonic rock”, an eclectic genre which would eventually morph into heavy metal. They were best known for their dramatic heavy, slowed-down arrangements of contemporary pop songs which they developed into works of epic proportion. Barone’s La Pizzeria is a “Mom & Pop—red sauce” pizza joint located in Margate.

You know and I know that “Mom & Pop” pizza joints are a dime a dozen-down here in old South Florida. I think the way it works…the strip center landlord first signs Publix, then Walgreens, then a Chinese takeout, then a pizza joint, then a dry cleaners…then a —-(you fill in the blanks)….then half of the businesses go bust…

Anyway, the other evening, I gave Barone’s La Pizzeria a shot- and I gotta tell you, the food is real-good. Jeff Eats’ party did pizza, shrimp scampi, veal parmigiana, meat lasagna, chicken & shrimp alfredo, penne ala vodka—and like I just said, real good!

As you know– over the past few years, old Jeff Eats has eaten-in his fair share of “Mom & Pop” Italian joints…and, to be perfectly honest with you, most of them barely get the job done, but then again, that’s the nature of the beast…”cheap is cheap”….”you get what you pay for”…”one if by land, 2 if by sea.” Trust me on this one, Barone’s La Pizzeria is REAL GOOD…if you live or work near the joint, I highly recommend that you give it a try.

By the way, Barone’s La Pizzeria is right across Sample Road from the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek and is maybe a 3-minute drive (west) from the Festival Flea Market on Sample Road.

Barone’s La Pizzeria is open Sunday-Thursday 11am-10pm and Friday-Saturday 11am-11pm.
