Jeff Eats first told you guys about Brighton Beach Bagel way-back on June 30, 2016- at that time, the fast food/order-pickup at counter bagel joint was a day or so away from opening…

Long story short…

Brighton Beach Bagel & Bakery has now been open for something like 6-weeks and a couple of days ago, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats gave it a “shot” for lunch. Rather than wasting a ton of ink telling you guys about the delicious- reasonably priced bagels/bialys/baked goods/soups/deli meats/tuna salad/chicken salad/spreads/breakfast stuff that this joint is cranking out -or Brighton’s super pleasant service- or its cool looking Retro 50’s Brooklyn vibe decor -or the joint’s bottomless help yourself hot/iced coffee setup, let me just say that Jeff Eats is hard pressed to name another Florida fast food/order-pickup at counter bagel joint as good as Brighton Beach Bagel & Bakery is!

There really isn’t too much more to say, other than if you work, play, or live in Brighton Beach Bagel & Bakery’s neighborhood- then you definitely gotta give it a shot!

The joint is open 7 days a week 6:30am-4pm.

Jeff Eats just heard about Brighton Beach Bagel & Bakery which is set to open tomorrow morning at 6am in Delray Beach! In speaking with one of Brighton’s owners – the joint is a 150 seat (inside/outside patio) order at counter/deliver to table- bagel/deli restaurant, open Monday-Thursday 6am-5pm, Friday-Sunday 6am-3pm.

If Brighton proves to be as good as it “sounds” on its website- brightonbeachbagel.com- you guys and Jeff Eats will have found a real good joint to stuff our faces at!

Jeff Eats has Brighton Beach Bagel & Bakery “penciled in for a try” sometime in the next 30 days…if you guys get there before I do, let me know the skinny!

For right now- just a rumor, but Jeff Woodward & Bernstein Eats is hearing that based on her recent European and New York SRO concerts, the kinda reclusive- Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer- Ronnie Spector is in negotiations for a very rare March, 2017 South Florida public appearance!

Like I just said, for right now-just a rumor- with no firm date or venue!

For you guys who don’t know who Ronnie Spector is, shame on you! For crying out loud, the lady ONLY sang lead on Be My Baby which just might be the greatest Rock n Roll girl group record of all time!

Jeff Eats recently “discovered” Garlic Ciabatta Bread in The Boys Farmers Market’s bakery department and I gotta tell you guys- this garlic-covered bread is off the chart delicious. Jeff Eats has had 4-of the breads (2 toasted, 2 room temperature) and like I just said, delicious!

If you’re into garlic bread, garlic knots, pizza- plan on giving this garlic cheese bread a shot!

Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats loved comedian Julia Scotti’s recent America’s Got Talent appearances!

So…

We just picked up 2- tickets for the national headling comedian’s The Comedy Zone’s 10/8/16 (9:45pm) show!

Although Scotti got knocked-off AGT (8/24/16)- the bet here is that comedy clubs all over Florida not to mention America, will soon be booking her like crazy! Just so you guys know, for right now, Scotti’s only scheduled Florida appearances are at The Comedy Zone, October 6th-9th, 2016!

Just in case Jeff Eats is ‘wrong” on that booking business (hey! I thought that the Edsel was gonna be a big seller)- Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats got this part of our respective bucket lists covered (trust me, I know, a bit over dramatic)!

Got a real good one for you guys, 2 month old- Full of Crepe in Delray Beach. Fast food/order-pickup at counter/good handful of tables/nice selection of reasonably priced made-to-order sweet and savory crepes.

Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats recently did lunch and I gotta tell you, we really enjoyed Full of Crepe. Simple concept, delicious food, reasonable prices, fast service- spells winner to Jeff Eats! By the way, Full of Crepe has another outpost in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania so if/and when you visit Christ’s birthplace-you now know about a terrific joint for breakfast/lunch/dinner in the area!
