Just between you guys and Jeff Eats, don’t let the “outside” photo of PIG-STY BBQ scare you off! Trust me, when you go through that red front door-you’re gonna love what you find!

Jeff Eats and a couple of buddies did a recent lunch- and I’m telling you that PIG-STY BBQ hit the ball right out of the park (I know, a bit corny!)! Cool decor-vibe, pleasant service (although, getting orders in & out a drop faster-wouldn’t be such a bad idea), reasonable prices, off the chart delicious stuff!

By the way, if you catch it right, on certain nights the joint has cover/tribute bands playing on a small stage!

Last night, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats caught “Classic Rock” band- Big City Dogs at Rip’s Sports Bar & Grill (Diamond Strike Lanes Bowling Center), 2200 North Federal Highway in Pompano Beach and the Big City Dogs absolutely killed!

For years, Jeff Eats has heard nothing but- terrific things about the Big City Dogs- and last night, I finally got the chance to see them in action- all I can tell you guys, is that you Classic Rock fans gotta go see this band!

Old World Pizza…basically a takeout joint. It does have a couple of tables inside/outside-but like I just said, basically a takeout joint.

Real simple,

Old World Pizza makes brick oven pizza (slices/pies), salads, hot/cold panini-sandwiches (on piadina bread), handful of desserts.

Jeff Eats recently “tried” cheese pizza, chicken parm sandwich, Italian sandwich (ham/salami/pepperoni/provolone cheese), grilled chicken Caesar salad…and I gotta tell you, I really enjoyed every-thing.

Just so you know, Old World Pizza isn’t even remotely close to my-home…if this joint was by-my-house, Jeff Eats would definitely be a regular customer. The pizza was just like I like it, thin/crispy/nice sweet sauce and the sandwiches and salads were right on the money.

For you guys who live/work in Old World Pizza’s neighborhood-you got a winner there! By the way, that $5 2-slices/soda deal…is a steal!

Just between you guys and Jeff Eats, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats aren’t “kosher” and we- don’t eat “desert”- but we kinda think that we know- when outrageously delicious food is being served-up!

With the above in mind, Jeff Eats, Mrs. Jeff Eats and our friends Norman and Lynn (who also- aren’t “kosher” and who also- don’t eat “desert”) did a recent Levy’s Kosher Of Hollywood dinner and I gotta tell you, the joint’s food blew all four of us away- absolutely delicious stuff!

Got another secret to share with you guys, Levy’s Kosher Of Hollywood’s chocolate babka is one of the best that Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats (and for what it’s worth- Norman and Lynn)- have eaten down here in sunny South Florida over the past 25 years and 21 years respectively! I’m telling you guys, off the chart, delicious!
