Just in case you guys were wondering- following the Old Jewish Christmas Eve Custom… tonight- Jeff Eats, Mrs. Jeff Eats, Daughter Jeff Eats, Son Jeff Eats and a whole bunch of friends- will be “dining” at Uncle Joe’s Chinese Restaurant in Palm Beach Gardens!

By the way, if you haven’t been to this joint- GO! Jeff Eats has been eating there for years and the food is dynamite!

If you live in the Palm Beach Gardens’ area, I got a real good Chinese joint for you…Uncle Joe’s Chinese Restaurant. No frills decor…No frills prices. Very good Chinese food…The joint passed my… wonton soup/egg roll/spare ribs/pan fried dumplings/roast pork fried rice/sweet and sour chicken/moo shu pork/shrimp in black bean sauce/pineapple chunks test with flying colors.

By the way, I drove a total of 69.4 miles (from my home to Uncle Joe’s) round-trip to eat at this joint. Call me a wild and crazy guy, but the food was worth the ride.

Uncle Joe’s is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.

Got an absolutely terrific Chinese “takeout” joint for you guys, Gou Lou Cheong BBQ in Lauderdale Lakes.

Simple concept here, hole in the wall- Chinese “takeout”- order at the counter- handful of tables if you insist on eating there. Gou Lou Cheong BBQ “specializes” in char siu pork, roast duck, roast pork, roast chicken, steamed chicken, steamed duck- in addition, its got two-really good handfuls of other “items” to round out your order!

Jeff Eats recently picked-up some stuff and I gotta tell you- the food absolutely killed!

For you guys with gullible friends, when you’re at Gou Lou Cheong BBQ, send them some pictures of the joint/food and text- that you’re in Hong Kong and that you’ll call them when you get home from your trip! Hey! It worked on Jeff Eats’ friends Al & Peggy who live in Huntington, Long Island!

Jeff Eats has been hearing some real good things about Halo Top Ice Cream- which supposedly is an amazingly delicious low calorie, all natural ingredients, low sugar, high protein ice cream!

Like I just said, “hearing”- Jeff Eats has yet to try Halo Top Ice Cream which according to its website halotop.com is being carried in Florida by select- Publix Super Market, The Fresh Market, Whole Foods Market, Winn-Dixie, Walmart and Target stores.

Just maybe “something” we- need to check out!

***** The Bakery Sweet Corn Muffins.

If you like corn muffins- the bet here is that you’re gonna love Walmart’s “house brand” The Bakery Sweet Corn Muffins.

Yesterday, the pictured package cost Jeff Eats $3.98 at- the Walmart Supercenter, 16205 South Military Trail, Delray Beach, Florida 33484- and I gotta tell you guys, these muffins blew Jeff Eats away! Now, I’m not claiming to be a corn muffin nor for that matter a cornbread- expert or something- but Jeff Eats does know that its-been a very long time since I’ve eaten a corn muffin/bread as delicious as The Bakery Sweet Corn Muffins that I picked-up yesterday!

Like I said 3-seconds ago…If you like corm muffins- the bet here- is that you’ll love Walmart’s “house brand” The Bakery Sweet Corn Muffins- they hooked Jeff Eats!
