Way-back on 9/16/17- Jeff Eats told you guys about a real good Italian bakery- Palermo’s Italian Bakery in Boynton Beach. Over the past 8 years, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats have been steady Palermo’s customers and I gotta tell you guys that the joint’s cakes, breads, cookies, pastries and prepared foods are top-notch stuff!

The tale- Over the past 8 years, Palermo’s expanded its bakery “operation” to include a limited breakfast/ lunch menu and live entertainment (at night) on its rear outdoor patio! On Friday & Saturday nights- in addition to desserts the joint has “price fixed” Italian dinners! Every month- Palermo’s website- palermoitalianbakery.com has an entertainment calendar which lists upcoming performers/ events. Trust Jeff Eats on this one, this is a really casual way to enjoy delicious desserts/dinner stuff while being entertained by some very professional performers!

Yesterday morning at 10:17am Jeff Eats came across these $4.99 Trader Joe’s Chocolatey Coated Chocolate Chip Dunkers at Trader Joe’s, 855 South Federal Highway, Boca Raton, Florida 33432, (561) 338-5031…

Forty-six minutes later, Jeff Eats (back at home along with a cup of steaming hot Dunkin’Donuts’ black coffee and Sunday’s New York Post) was a very-very happy camper!

If you want to eat delicious pastrami and roast beef sandwiches–you gotta try Pastrami Dan’s in Naples.

Pastrami Dan’s is exactly what Jeff Eats is all about…a hole in the wall, order at the counter-deliver to table joint- which has dynamite food… No frills, no drama, reasonable prices, big portions, no credit cards (caught you on that one, didn’t I?)–no bs-ing here, some of the most delicious pastrami and roast beef that I’ve had down here in Florida.

Pastrami Dan’s menu is printed above…LIMITED would be kind! Handful of items, end of story! As the old Haitian saying goes- “Jack of all trades, master of none”…it doesn’t apply here! For the past several years, he has been telling me- actually he’s been raving about a fast food biscuit/donut chain- named Rise Biscuits & Donuts which supposedly makes off-the-chart delicious donuts, biscuits, sandwiches and salads!

Checking Rise Biscuits & Donuts’ website (risebiscuitsdonuts.com) Jeff Eats found- that Rise currently has 1- Texas location, 1- Georgia location, 1- Virginia location and 10- North Carolina locations. I also found a list of “Coming Soon” locations and like I said 2 seconds ago- a Coral Springs’ location is set to open this coming Saturday!

Checking YELP and other review sites, Jeff Eats found tons and I do mean tons of positive comments about Rise Biscuits & Donuts!

You guys now know about- as much as Jeff Eats does about Rise Biscuits & Donuts- with that in mind, next week Jeff Eats is going to checkout the Coral Springs’ location- followed by my take on the joint!
