Real simple tale to tell you guys, yesterday afternoon, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” Beauregards Fine Meats & Butchery and the joint’s food absolutely killed! Order/pickup at counter, small handful of tables/counter seating, reasonably priced beef/pork/poultry, handful of lunch sandwiches, sides/prepared food menu.

Let’s wrap-up Beauregards Fine Meats & Butchery by saying, that Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats loved this joint, no bs- its pastrami on rye was one of the best pastrami sandwiches that we’ve ever eaten, real nice selection of quality beef/pork/poultry, open Tuesday – Saturday 10:30am-6:00pm/closed on Sunday & Monday, its home baked chocolate chip cookies are an absolute must- get, you can check menu/prices/info at beauregardsfinemeats.com.

Got a real good burger joint for you guys to checkout, BMC Smash Burgers in Oakland Park.

Simple tale to tell, yesterday Jeff Eats and three business associates “discovered” BMC Smash Burgers and its food totally blew us away! Order/pickup at front counter, inside table and counter seating/ handful of outdoor tables, reasonably priced burger/ hot dog/ tots/ french fries menu, open Wednesday-Saturday 4pm-10pm/ Sunday 1pm-7pm/ closed Monday-Tuesday.

Just between you guys and me, I kinda think I know my burgers and hot dogs- and I am telling you that BMC Smash Burgers’ flat top grilled burgers rank right up there with the best burgers (no matter how prepared) that I’ve ever eaten! – And its flat top grilled hot dogs ain’t exactly chopped liver either!

Got a real good “mom & pop” red sauce Italian joint for you guys to check-out, Aunt Lulu’s NY Style Pizza & Kitchen in Boca Raton.

Real simple tale to tell- last night, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” Aunt Lulu’s NY Style Pizza & Kitchen (located in a requisite bombed-out South Florida strip center) and I gotta tell you guys- that the joint’s food was- delicious! Inside table seating/ small handful of outdoor tables, reasonably priced menu featuring appetizers/ soups/ salads/ pizzas/ calzones/ strombolis/ hot & cold subs/ wings/ entrees/ desserts/ other stuff!

Like I said 2- seconds ago, the joint’s food was absolutely delicious…

Last but surely not least, Aunt Lulu’s wait and back of the house staff was off-the-chart good! Despite the masks, dine-in orders and loads of take-out orders, the crew was extremely competent and super-pleasant in taking care of business!

Real simple tale to tell you guys, last night Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats ate dinner at our friends’ Lou and Angela’s house in Palm Springs. Lou and Angela ordered from Joy Luck Chinese Restaurant which delivered the food to their home! AND- Lou and Angela picked-up the bill! Lou told me that Joy Luck is a “mom & pop” restaurant which does both eat-in and takeout!

Putting aside the fact that free-food always tastes good, I gotta tell you that this Joy Luck joint makes some heavy duty delicious stuff…wonton soup, egg drop soup, egg rolls, fried dumplings, bbq ribs, shrimp with lobster sauce, roast pork fried rice, sweet & sour pork, roast pork lo main, beef with Chinese vegetables- were all right on the money! For the curious, I thought that the shrimp with lobster sauce, bbq ribs and roast pork lo mein absolutely killed!

Let me wrap this one up for you guys, free or not free- Joy Luck’s food is really good.
