Over the years, Jeff Eats has eaten in “a” Five Guys numerous times…the food and service are consistently good. Prices are very reasonable .

Let me put this to you as simply as I can…if you like HAMBURGERS & FRENCH FRIES…you absolutely have to try Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries.

Five Guys is a fast-food chain. The last time I checked, it had 118 units (located predominantly in the northeast USA). Five Guys is planning a “major push” into South Florida, so don’t be shocked to see “one” opening in your neighborhood real soon.

Five Guys makes one of the best fast-food hamburgers that you will ever taste. The same goes for its fries. The same also goes for its hot-dogs. Just so you know, this joint’s menu has burgers, hot-dogs, fries and a grilled cheese sandwich on it “and that’s it.”

I am telling you, that you don’t want to miss this one. For “right now” the only Five Guys in “our” South Florida area is in West Palm Beach. This joint is open 7 days

Got a good bagel joint for you guys…Broadway Bagels in Plantation which has been around for something like 33 years.

Jeff Eats and a couple of buddies recently ate breakfast there- and I gotta tell you that Broadway Bagels’ deli omelette ($7.99-corned beef/pastrami/Swiss cheese), blueberry pancakes ($6.99) and corned beef hash ($7.99) were all-right on the money! Throw in REAL GOOD sesame, everything and onion bagels- and Jeff Eats would definitely do a second-visit! Just so we are straight with each other, Broadway Bagels isn’t curing cancer or nothing here- the food is good-with its bagels (made the right way- hand rolled/boiled/baked) being the real “keeper” of this tale!-so if you go- don;t forget THE BAGELS!

Last night, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats saw the “updated” Jake Ehrenreich’s- A Jew Grows In Brooklyn/2.0 at the Mizner Park Cultural Arts Center in Boca Raton…and all I can tell you is-if you are Jewish you owe it to yourself to go-see this one man show! Jake Ehrenreich’s 90 minute non stop performance, is a fabulous ride of hysterical laughter and sad tears!
