***** Breakfast Station Restaurant, 4100 North Wickham Road, Melbourne, Florida 32935, (321) 428-4810.

Got a real good diner for you guys to checkout- Breakfast Station Restaurant in Melbourne.

Real simple tale to tell, the other day- Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” Breakfast Station Restaurant and I gotta tell you- if your’e into diners- you will absolutely love this joint. Delicious food, super pleasant service, reasonable prices, no drama! Open 7 days a week from 7am-3pm.

Just so you guys know- there are 14 Breakfast Station Restaurants in Florida. Not trying to make any enemies here- but based on Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats’ “outing” in-my-humble-opinion this joint’s food/vibe/prices/decor/service were better than what chains like IHOP, First Watch, Perkins Bakery & Restaurant serve-up. Purely a subjective call, but the Melbourne- Breakfast Station Restaurant had the “mom & pop” neighborhood diner “vibe” that we really enjoy!- the other chains don’t have it!

Let me wrap Breakfast Station Restaurant up by telling you guys that you can check breakfaststationcentral.com for locations/menu/prices/info.

Do you guys know what scarily good means? Well, Granger’s Grille in Delray Beach is scarily good.

Real quick story…

Hole in the wall with scarily good American-Style food located at 215 Northeast 6th Avenue, Delray Beach after 23 years was forced to move- because the landlord sold the building it was in. A few months later (January, 2017) the “former” hole in the wall re-opened 3-times larger at 892 Southeast 5th Avenue, Delray Beach serving the same scarily good American-Style food!

All Jeff Eats can tell you guys, is that if you’re into absolutely dynamite burgers/ wings/ bbq ribs/ fried zucchini/ onion rings/ French fries/ tuna salad/ chili/ fried chicken/ onion soup/ meatloaf so-on and so forth, portions that could choke a horse, super reasonable prices and a staff that can’t do enough for you- Granger’s Grille is a must try for you!

***** Granger’s Bar & Grill, 215 NE 6th Avenue, Delray Beach Florida (561) 276-7881.

Granger’s is a 38 seat bar-grill located on Federal Highway. The joint has something like 10 seats at the bar and a handful of booths and tables…one waitress-one busgirl-3 in the kitchen and that’s the whole shooting match. By the way, the waitress and busgirl are also the bartenders. The bathrooms are out-houses in the parking lot.

Granger’s food is absolutely great. Appetizers, burgers, salads, main dishes everything is delicious. How that little kitchen bangs out so much delicious food is beyond me, but in the 30-40 times that I have eaten at Granger’s everything was right on the money.

I am telling you, that this little joint is a MUST for you. Wear tee shirt/shorts so you don’t look stupid. The joint is open Monday-Saturday for lunch and dinner. The prices are also dirt cheap and if you are there on a Saturday Night you have to try the brick of meatloaf that is one of this joint’s specialities.

From the outside, Granger’s looks like a D U M P. Try it, you will love it.

Yesterday afternoon- Jeff Eats and 3 old Ithaca College buddies discovered Old School Philly and I gotta tell you guys that all 4 of us rated the joint’s cheesesteaks and fries- absolutely delicious!

Dunkin’ Once Again Giving Away Donuts on Veterans Day

INDUSTRY NEWS NOVEMBER 5, 2019 Share on FacebookTweetShare on LinkedInForward
Dunkin’ is once again celebrating Veterans Day with a sweet salute to the brave men and women of the armed forces. On Monday, November 11, veterans and active duty military are invited to participating Dunkin’ restaurants nationwide for a free donut of their choice, no purchase necessary. The return of the Veterans Day donut special is part of Dunkin’s long-standing commitment to supporting active military and veterans.

In addition to a free donut of their choice, the first 50 veterans and active military at participating Dunkin’ restaurants on November 11 will also receive a thank you card written by members of the community from A Million Thanks. A Million Thanks is a nonprofit organization that supports active, reserve and veteran military by sending millions of letters of thanks and encouragement directly to service members. Since its inception in 2004, A Million Thanks has delivered over 9.8 million cards to U.S. troops stationed around the world.

On Veterans Day, Dunkin’ fans will have the opportunity to add their own custom message to digital cards featuring words of thanks and encouragement to active duty military on Dunkin’s Instagram page on Veterans Day. Favorite messages will be selected by Dunkin’ and printed and mailed to active military members through A Million Thanks. In celebration of the new partnership Dunkin’ is donating $10,000 to A Million Thanks for ongoing support of their mission.

“We’re thrilled to partner with A Million Thanks and continue Dunkin’s longstanding history of supporting the brave men and women of our military,” says Tom Manchester, Dunkin’ Brands Senior Vice President of Integrated Marketing. “We are honored to serve veterans and active duty military at Dunkin’ locations nationwide and at our military locations on bases around the world. Alongside our franchisees, some of which are veterans themselves, we look forward to welcoming members of our armed forces to Dunkin’ this Veterans Day and every day.”

Dunkin’ is also shining the spotlight on George Hart, retired U.S. Army Major and Dunkin’ franchisee, this Veterans Day in the latest Dunkin’ Doc, Dunkin’s digital series profiling standout Dunkin’ fans, employees and franchise owners. The video profiles George and his incredible goal of putting a Dunkin’ on every military base in the country. With 11 Dunkin’ locations open now and six more set to open within the next year, George is on a mission to hit all 44 U.S. bases. This Dunkin’ Doc shares George’s journey, and how Dunkin’ has been the inspiration to build such a meaningful community on bases across the country. The Dunkin’ Doc is available to watch on the Dunkin’ Blog here.

Dunkin’s Veterans Day initiatives are part of the brand’s year-round commitment to supporting the U.S. armed forces. Through the Dunkin’ Coffee for Our Troops program, the company has donated more than 300,000 pounds of coffee to troops deployed overseas. Under the program, each week the company sends a case of coffee to deployed troops based on recommendations from friends, family members or troops themselves. Since 2003, the brand has sent 10 cases of coffee each week.
