Now, you guys and Jeff Eats both know that this whole food blog “reviewing” situation is purely one big subjective call- you know, what I like, you may hate and vice versa!

With that in mind, yesterday while shopping at The Fresh Market located at 5540 North Military Trail, Boca Raton, Florida 33496, (561) 994-2221) I came across Michaels of Brooklyn Marinara Sauce (16oz- $7.89) and I gotta tell you guys- that this sauce is absolutely- off-the-chart delicious!

Like I said a few seconds ago, what I like you may hate and vice versa. All I know, is that in my day- I’ve literally consumed a hundred gallons of marinara sauce and I gotta rate this one right up there with the best that I’ve ever eaten!

By the way, the sauce went perfectly with the Petite Cruise Mozzarella Sticks which Mrs. Jeff Eats had picked up at Costco Wholesale, 17800 Congress Avenue, Boca Raton, Florida 33487, (561) 981-5004 last week!

Real simple tale to tell you guys, yesterday afternoon, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” Beauregards Fine Meats & Butchery and the joint’s food absolutely killed! Order/pickup at counter, small handful of tables/counter seating, reasonably priced beef/pork/poultry, handful of lunch sandwiches, sides/prepared food menu.

Let’s wrap-up Beauregards Fine Meats & Butchery by saying, that Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats loved this joint, no bs- its pastrami on rye was one of the best pastrami sandwiches that we’ve ever eaten, real nice selection of quality beef/pork/poultry, open Tuesday – Saturday 10:30am-6:00pm/closed on Sunday & Monday, its home baked chocolate chip cookies are an absolute must- get, you can check menu/prices/info at beauregardsfinemeats.com.

Got a real good empanada “bakery” for you guys to checkout, Ana’s Killer Empanadas in Delray Beach

Real easy story to tell, yesterday, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” Ana’s Killer Empanadas and I gotta tell you guys, absolute dynamite stuff! Takeout bakery, order/pickup at counter, reasonably priced menu of a variety of in-house baked empanadas, open Monday – Friday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm/ Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm/ Sunday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Let’s wrap-up Ana’s Killer Empanadas by saying that its empanadas “kill”- real nice selection of delicious fillings and sauces! Trust Jeff Eats on this one, despite having barely (and I do mean barely) passed Ditmas Junior High School, Erasmus Hall High School and Ithaca College Spanish, I kinda think I know my empanadas- and they are an absolute must try!

Real simple tale to tell, yesterday- Jeff Eats, Mrs. Jeff Eats, Daughter Jeff Eats and Son Jeff Eats “discovered” Brooklyn Dough With A Hole and we all-agreed that its food killed! Order/pickup at counter, indoor table seating/ small handful of outdoor tables, reasonably priced 20+ bagel selection/ cream cheeses/ spreads/ salads/ meats/ toppings/ breakfast bagel sandwiches/ hot & cold bagel sandwiches/ coffee menu.

You guys know or should know by now, that this food reviewing “gig” is purely a subjective call- You know, what I like, you may hate and vice versa! With that in mind, I am telling you, that Brooklyn Dough With A Hole’s in-house hand rolled/kettle boiled/baked bagels rank right up there with the best- that I’ve had here= in Florida!

* Humor!

A burglar breaks into a home and holds the husband and wife hostage.

He forces the two to sit on chairs and ties them to the chairs.

The burglar slowly and methodically begins robbing the house.

The burglar has taken everything of value and is ready to leave while the homeowners are still bound to their chairs.

Suddenly, the man yells at the burglar,

“Please untie her, please, let her go!”

“No, I’m not untying either of you so that the authorities get notified as late as possible,” says the criminal.

“Don’t worry, your neighbors will soon wonder why your lights are still on throughout the night and check in with you.”

Yet the man again pleads,

“Please, just untie her, I’ll do anything!”

“Look, I need to get away with this crime, I’m sorry, I can’t leave anything up to chance.” says the burglar, feeling a little ashamed of himself.

“I’m begging you man, just let her go, she won’t call the cops, I promise!” the man is now crying.

The burglar, still unwilling to budge, does find it quite touching how much his hostage cared about his wife.

“Wow,” he says

“You must really love your wife to beg me to untie her so desperately.”

“Not really,”

The man replies in a state of frenzy,

“It’s just that she will be home in 15 minutes.”
