Got a real good “bar” for you guys to checkout, Double Roads Tavern in Jupiter- that’s assuming you’re into solid enough- bar food, loads of tvs, reasonably priced booze and partying 7 days a week with some of Florida’s top 1960s-1980s tribute-cover bands on both indoor and outside patio stages!

Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats recently “did” Double Roads Tavern and I gotta tell you guys, the joint absolutely delivered! Now just so you guys and Jeff Eats are straight with each other, if your’e looking for fancy schmanzy food and other highfalutin stuff this Double Roads Tavern joint probably ain’t gonna work for you- but if you’re into (like Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats are)- cheeseburgers and fries, wings, mac n cheese and cold beer- and folks like The Doobie Brothers, The Stones, The Doors and The Beatles you’re gonna do just fine there!

Jack & Mary’s…”neighborhood” mom & pop diner–counter seating, booths/tables. The joint is open Monday-Sunday 7am-2pm.

Cute name, but personally Jeff Eats would have gone with Jack & Jill…but then again, the owners are probably named Jack and Mary, and I guess Mary didn’t want to go through life known as Jill. Then again how cool would it have been to have named the joint Shlomo & Mary’s Breakfast-Lunch?

Anyway, now that I’ve killed some time…

Jack & Mary’s menu is loaded with breakfast stuff, sandwiches/burgers, soups/salads, hot lunch “specials.”.

Jeff Eats recently did “lunch”…rye patty melt with french fries ($6.65), chicken salad club sandwich with french fries ($6.25), bowl of chili/onions/cheese ($3.55)…

Good solid diner-food, reasonable prices, very pleasant service.

Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “know” sports bars- and trust me on this one, this Batch Gastropub joint is good stuff! Indoor table/booth seating, outdoor patio table & couch seating, full liquor bar, tons of tvs inside and outside, reasonably priced booze, super good staff, reasonably priced off the chart delicious food, big portions, Friday & Saturday night DJ providied music! Open Sunday-Thursday 4pm-11am, Friday-Saturday 4pm-1am, Saturday brunch noon-3pm, Sunday Brunch 11am-3pm.

Jeff Eats, Mrs. Jeff Eats, Daughter Jeff Eats and Son Jeff Eats did a recent dinner- and I gotta tell you, Batch Gastropub killed it!

Like I said a few seconds ago, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “know” sports bars- and I’m telling you guys- that you definitely wanna give Batch Gastropub a shot- believe me, it’s really that good!

For the Amerigo Vespuccis in the crowd, Batch Gastropub is located in the Delray Marketplace in Delray Beach- there is- another Batch Gastropub location in Miami at 30 Southwest 12th Street (Brickell), (305) 808-5555 (which I already told you guys about on 3/19/14).
