My husband hasn’t worked for the last 18 years. All he does is get dressed in the morning and hop in his fancy car to visit his cronies. I know he’s cheated on me many times with young girls who could be his granddaughters. I know this because he brags about this to me. He smokes fancy cigars and drinks the most expensive liquor day and night. We sleep in separate beds because he tells me he knows I`m a lesbian and besides that, my varicose veins and fat behind turn him off.

Should I clobber him with something heavy, or should I just leave him ? Your advice would be appreciated.

Making it’s return in 2018, and taking place every Friday night from 6:00pm – 9:00pm at “The Hub” on Fort Lauderdale Beach at Las Olas Boulevard and A1A, the 34-week Friday Night Sound Waves live music series is free to the public and features a diverse mix of Acoustic Americana, Jazz, Blues, Country, Latin Fusion, Motown, Top 40, Reggae, World and Classic Rock.
Attendees are encouraged to slide off their shoes and slip into the weekend, while kicking back on the sand with family and friends, to take in the ocean breeze and spectacular sights and sounds as a lead into their weekend. Interactive experiences on select dates provide local artists, entertainers and non-profit organizations the opportunity to connect with the community through the common language of music, art, entertainment and fun.

Got a real good breakfast/lunch diner for you guys to checkout- Shaker’s American Cafe in Orlando.

Just for the record, I first told you guys about Shaker’s on 9/20/12- hadn’t been back since…

Anyway,

Simple concept at work here- open Monday-Saturday 6:30am-2:30pm/Sunday 8am-2pm, all-day breakfast/lunch menu, indoor tables/handful of outdoor tables, reasonable prices, big portions, delicious food, very pleasant service. Check menu/prices/info at shakerscafe.com.

Jeff Eats, Mrs. Jeff Eats and a couple of our friends recently did lunch at Shaker’s American Cafe and all four (not that it really matters what the other three thought-after all this is Jeff Eats’ blog) of us agreed that the joint’s food and service absolutely killed!

For you guys who like a bit more “color”- the joint opened in 1993 and features all-kinds of salt & pepper shakers as part of its decor!

Let me wrap Shaker’s American Cafe up- by saying, this joint is a homerun- absolute must try!

Shakers American Cafe…”mom & pop” breakfast and lunch diner in Orlando. You can check menu/prices at www.shakerscafe.com.

Just so you know, the joint’s Americana decor features something like 12,000,000 types of salt & pepper shakers—thus the name Shakers. An 8 year-old with a bat would have a field day in this joint.

Shakers’ menu is loaded with breakfast stuff, salads and sandwiches.

Jeff Eats recently did breakfast there…western omelete with hashbrowns ($6.59), Greek omelete with potato pancake ($6.59), french toast with blueberries ($5.49)—everything was delicious. A special shout-out to the potato pancake. Real reasonable prices, very pleasant service.

Just so you know, Shakers is open Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm, Saturday 6am-2pm, Sunday 7am-1:30pm. Monday-Friday Shakers serves breakfast until 11am but on Saturday-Sunday breakfast is served all-day.

You’ll need a freaking train schedule to keep track of this joint’s hours.

Anyway…the food is really good so if Shakers fits your schedule, give it a try.

Stewie Stone is living proof you can’t take the kid out of Brooklyn. Even his name “Stewie” comes direct from Flatbush. His fame and fortune turning point came when Stewie opened for Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons in a Fort Lauderdale nightclub. He then spent four years touring with the group and managed to play virtually every major nightclub in the States. He hit the jackpot when he arrived in Las Vegas. He’s opened for Paul Anka, Dionne Warwick, Ben Vereen, Bobby Vinton, Cher, Engelbert Humperdinck, just to name a few.
