Instead of a single night, concerts will be scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 PM. Gates will open for entry at 6:30 PM.
While tribute concerts are FREE to attend, ticket registration will be REQUIRED through Eventbrite. Space is limited.

Simple tale to tell- Italian deli/market serving up- house made breads/ pastries/ cakes/ cookies/ breakfast sandwiches/ hot & cold subs & sandwiches/ hot & cold pastas, deli cases loaded with meats/cheeses/salads, wines, coffee bar, order-pickup at counter, indoor table/counter seating, open Monday-Friday 7am-7pm/Saturday 9am-5pm/closed Sunday.

V & S is a small Italian takeout-deli located in Boca Raton. The joint has been around since 1985-and has the full gamut of cold and hot subs/sandwiches/salads/Italian entrees/pasta dishes. On the sub price-front, figure on spending $6.50-$8 depending on whether you get small-or-large.
A recent outing had Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “sampling” some subs and I gotta tell you guys- absolutely top-shelf! Delicious fresh baked hard crust bread stuffed with great “fillings”- just that simple!
Like I said two seconds ago, V & S is basically a takeout (handful of wall counter seats) so don’t planning on staging big weddings, bar mitzvahs or baby namings there!
The joint is open Monday-Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 10am-3pm.

Look—I’m not trying to be the Town Crier here…but when I got something that you may enjoy…
Last Friday night at the Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton, I saw Sebastian Maniscalco- a young comedian (I’m figuring about 35) in action. To put it bluntly, I can’t recall laughing so hard in a very-very long time. The guy did something like 80 minutes of clean contemporary comedy and literally had the audience eating out of his hand. Kinda hard to describe him, but when I was watching his show, he reminded me of a Jerry Seinfeld/John Travolta (actually- Vinny Barbarino)/Jerry Lewis amalgamation (never used that word before!).
If you want to see a top-notch comic in action, Sebastian who lives in Southern California, will be at the Fort Lauderdale Improv June 7-10 and the Miami Improv November 30 & December 1, 2012.

Mark this column, in the coming years–this guy will be a major concert, film and television performer…and if you had listened to Jeff Eats–you saw him, before anyone else!!

Every city/town-has a legendary “this or that”…from what Jeff Eats understands-Dreamette is Jacksonville’s legendary soft-serve ice cream joint.
Dreamette has been around since 1948.
It is housed in a stand-alone “shack.”
You order at/pickup at the window.
There is very limited outdoor seating.
Dreamette features vanilla and chocolate soft serve and a plethora (like that word?) of toppings and flavored “dips” that coat the soft serve. It also has milk shakes and stuff like banana splits.
A recent outing had Jeff Eats doing a chocolate soft serve covered in a peanut dip, Mrs. Jeff Eats doing a vanilla soft serve covered in caramel dip and a “joint-effort” of a chocolate soft serve with a strawberry dip. No fooling here, all 3-cones were amazingly delicious.
Like I said a few seconds ago, Dreamette has been around since 1948. Based on Jeff Eats’ birthdate this joint was in business before I was even a twinkle in my parents’ eyes. Based on the what I saw, I seriously doubt that The Dreamette’s exterior has been remodeled or fixed-up since 1948–which makes the joint even cooler to Jeff Eats way of thinking.
The best way to sum Dreamette up…delicious soft serve/in a real McCoy old location.
Jeff Eats loved Dreamette which is open 7 days a week noon-8:30pm.
