Got a real good pizza joint for you guys to checkout, Mom’s New York Pizza in Miami Beach.

Real simple tale to tell, hole in the wall takeout pizza joint- pizza by the slice/ calzones/ strombolis/ chicken wings-tenders/ garlic knots menu, order/pickup at counter, handful of inside window counter seats/outside counter-railing, “Covid” hours- open 7 days a week 12pm-12am, “normal” hours- open Monday-Wednesday 12pm—12am/ Thursday12pm-4am/ Friday-Saturday 12pm-6am/ Sunday 12pm-4am.

Last night Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” Mom’s New York Pizza and I gotta tell you guys- the joint’s New York Style Pizza (thin/crispy/sweet sauce/foldable/nice oil drip) was off the chart delicious!

No fancy schmancy outing- just 2 slices of cheese pizza and 2 cans of Coca Cola!

Climb aboard for Destination Motown as the Sensational Soul Cruisers’ live band takes you on a trip that pays homage to such fabulous Motown entertainers as The Temptations, The Jackson Five, Marvin Gaye, the Four Tops and so many others. The Sensational Soul Cruisers have been delighting audiences for over 30 years and if you remember the ‘80s movie, Eddie and the Cruisers, they, along with Eddie Testa, were the original Eddie and the Cruisers and the inspiration for the movie.

Got a real good mini-cake donut joint for you guys to checkout, Simply Done Donuts in Tampa.

Real simple tale to tell, yesterday afternoon Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” Simply Done Donuts and its mini-vanilla cake donuts absolutely killed! Order/pick up at counter, menu loaded with all kinds of topped mini-cake donuts/ coffee/ milkshakes, table seating, open Tuesday-Friday 7am-2pm/ Saturday-Sunday 7am-4pm/ closed Monday.

Now, just between you guys and me, I’ve never-ever met a donut that I didn’t like…that said, I am telling you, that Simply Done Donuts’ freshly made mini-cake donuts are the ‘real deal’- delicious vanilla cake topped with killer stuff like maple icing/crumbled bacon and chocolate icing/ crumbled Butterfinger!

Now just so we are straight with each other, you guys should know by now- that Jeff Eats has absolutely no idea whatsoever as to what “is” or “isn’t” a good cup of coffee- with that in mind, Mrs. Jeff Eats said that I should tell you guys- that Simply Done Donuts’ House Blend- Limited was dynamite!

Got an absolutely dynamite coal fired pizza joint for you guys to checkout, Ah-Beetz New Haven Pizza in Delray Beach.

Real simple tale to tell, last week Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” (1 eat-in/ 1- takeout) Ah-Beetz New Haven Pizza (which opened something like 3 months ago) and its food totally- blew us away! The no-frills joint has 2- tables (for 4) inside and a handful of tables outside. Reasonably priced pizzas/ calzones/ salads/ wings menu.

Now, you guys know, or should know by know- that this food reviewing “gig” is purely a subjective call…what I like, you may hate and vice versa!

With that in mind, I gotta tell you that the coal oven-pizzas/ calzone/ chicken wings, salads that we ordered- rank right-up there with the best that we’ve eaten here in Florida!

Trust Jeff Eats when I tell you, Ah-Beetz New Haven Pizza is an absolute must try joint!

The cultural icon will perform an exclusive series of shows bringing to full bloom her chamber-folk masterwork supported by a 25-piece orchestra. The show will also feature Judy’s most beloved songs from her decades-spanning oeuvre.

Wildflowers is Gold-certified and landed No. 5 on the Billboard Pop Albums charts?it remains Judy’s highest-charting album. The meditative 10-song Wildflowers is one of the first orchestral pop albums of the 1960s, and it was a milestone entry in Judy’s career because it featured her first three original compositions, “Since You Asked,” “Sky Fell,” and “Albatross.”.
