Real easy tale to tell, yesterday afternoon I “discovered” the below pictured 16oz $8.99 Carnegie Deli Chocolate Babka in the The Boys Farmers Market, 14378 South Military Trail, Delray Beach, Florida 33484, (561) 496-0810, Boysfarmersmarket.com bakery department…

Earlier this morning, I sloppily cut myself a few babka “slices” and I am telling you guys- that Carnegie Deli Chocolate Babka was off the chart delicious! Keep a secret, it was so awesome that if I wasn’t “scared” of Mrs. Jeff Eats, I would have had seconds!

Like I said a few seconds ago, I got my Carnegie Deli Chocolate Babka at The Boys Farmers Market in Delray Beach. A simple “search” will find you other Florida retailers that carry the babka. You can also order directly from the Carneige Deli at carnegiedeli.com.

One final heads-up, The Boys Farmers Market also had a Carnegie Deli Cinnamon Babka that also looked awesome!

Got a real good Italian joint for you guys to checkout, Heritage in Fort Lauderdale.

Simple tale to tell, yesterday afternoon Jeff Eats, Mrs Jeff Eats and 4 friends “discovered” Heritage and the joint’s food and service totally blew us away! Inside table/ booth/ bar seating, full liquor bar, open kitchen, reasonably priced menu of appetizers/ salads/ pastas/ pizzas/ paninis/ desserts.

Now you guys all know, or should know by now, that this food reviewing “gig” is purely a subjective call- you know, what I like, you may hate and vice versa! With this in mind, I am telling you guys that Heritage’s food is dynamite and that the joint is an absolute must try.

Short tale to tell, yesterday afternoon Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” 2-month old Long Island Bagel Cafe and the joint’s food absolutely killed! Order/pickup at counter, inside/outside table seating, reasonably priced full boat deli-bagel (including a chopped salad bar) menu.

Trust me – you guys will definitely find what to eat at this joint! Before I forget, Long Island Bagel Cafe currently has 8 Long Island/New York joints and the Boca Raton location is its first shot at the Florida market!

Let’s wrap-up Long Island Bagel Cafe by saying, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats were like 2- kids in a candy store- and you guys gotta try this joint!

Simple tale to tell, last week Jeff Eats, Mrs. Jeff Eats, Daughter Jeff Eats, Son Jeff Eats and a couple of long-time “originally from Brooklyn” friends- “discovered” Joseph’s Pizza and I gotta tell you- the joint’s food was right on the money! Inside table & counter seating/ outside covered patio table seating, reasonably priced appetizers/ soups/ salads/ pastas/ chicken wings/ hot & cold sandwiches/ pizzas/ entrees/ desserts/ beer & wine menu, Saturday & Sunday brunch, open Tuesday-Thursday noon-9pm/ Friday noon-10pm/ Saturday 10am-10pm/ Sunday 10am-9pm/ closed on Monday.

Let’s wrap-up Joseph’s Pizza by saying- if this joint was a whole lot closer to Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats’ Boca Raton abode, we definitely would be real steady customers! Got a real good (actually- terrific) “mom & pop” Italian joint for you guys to check-out, Zio Joe’s Pizza in Greenacres.

Long story short, last night Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” Zio Joe’s Pizza and its food totally blew us away! Handful of tables, no frills decor, reasonably priced menu of pizzas/whole and by the slice, pastas, soups, heroes, salads, wings, entrees, other stuff.

Now, just between us, everyone here-including me thinks they know good pizza etc.- well I am telling you guys, this Uncle Joe’s joint makes killer New York Style Pizza along with a load of other dynamite dishes! Throw in, if you pay with cash deals- and daily specials, like me, you’ll quickly become a fan!
