A father passing by his son’s bedroom

Noticed the room unusually clean and saw an envelope propped up prominently on the pillow. It was addressed, ‘Dad’. With the worst premonition, he opened the envelope and read the letter, with trembling hands.

Dear, Dad. It is with great regret and sorrow that I’m writing you. I had to elope with my new girlfriend, because I wanted to avoid a scene with Mom and you.

I’ve been finding real passion with Stacy. She is so nice, but I knew you would not approve of her because of all her piercing’s, tattoos, her tight Motorcycle clothes, and because she is so much older than I am.

But it’s not only the passion, Dad. She’s pregnant. Stacy said that we will be very happy. She owns a trailer in the woods, and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. We share a dream of having many more children.

Stacy has opened my eyes to the fact that marijuana doesn’t really hurt anyone. We’ll be growing it for ourselves and trading it with the other people in the commune for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want.

In the meantime, we’ll pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so that Stacy can get better. She sure deserves it!

Don’t worry Dad, I’m 15, and I know how to take care of myself. Someday, I’m sure we’ll be back to visit so you and Mom can get to know your many grandchildren.

Got a real good mom & pop red sauce Italian joint for you guys, Nick’s Pizza in Deerfield Beach.

Now you guys and Jeff Eats both know that mom & pop red sauce Italian joints are literally a dime a dozen down here in sunny Florida- and for that matter- everywhere else in the good old USA! We also know, that some are good, some are real good, some are fair and some are straight-out lousy…well Nick’s Pizza is one of the real good ones!

Long story short, yesterday Jeff Eats, Mrs. Jeff Eats, Daughter Jeff Eats and Son Jeff Eats did lunch at Nick’s and other than for a small dose of “family related drama” the 2 pizza slices/2 salads/1 cheese calzone/1 chicken parm sub/1 veal parm sub- meal went off without a hitch!

If you’re into mom & pop red sauce Italian joints- Jeff Eats can’t see you guys-not liking Nick’s Pizza which is open Monday-Friday 11am-10pm, Saturday-Sunday noon-10pm.

Yesterday- Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” Whit’s Frozen Custard and all I can tell you- is if you like frozen custard- you will absolutely love this joint. Simple concept- order/pickup at counter, inside table & wall counter seating, very reasonably priced vanilla/chocolate/rotating daily and monthly flavors/toppings/shakes-malts menu, open 7 days a week noon-10pm, currently 51 U.S. store-chain with a handful of Florida joints- Boca Raton store opened in October,2019.

Let me wrap-up Whit’s Frozen Custard by saying that its custard is made fresh daily and is absolutely delicious!
