Summer in the City promises a line-up of FREE tribute concerts, mixed with fun, games, arts, and yoga from June 7th through August 9th. Doors open one hour before each concert.

Platinum hit-makers, ORLEANS, celebrated 48 years of live performances in 2020. Got a real good “mom & pop” red sauce Italian joint for you guys to check-out, Aunt Lulu’s NY Style Pizza & Kitchen in Boca Raton.

Real simple tale to tell- last night, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” Aunt Lulu’s NY Style Pizza & Kitchen (located in a requisite bombed-out South Florida strip center) and I gotta tell you guys- that the joint’s food was- delicious! Inside table seating/ small handful of outdoor tables, reasonably priced menu featuring appetizers/ soups/ salads/ pizzas/ calzones/ strombolis/ hot & cold subs/ wings/ entrees/ desserts/ other stuff!

Like I said 2- seconds ago, the joint’s food was absolutely delicious…

Last but surely not least, Aunt Lulu’s wait and back of the house staff was off-the-chart good! Despite the masks, dine-in orders and loads of take-out orders, the crew was extremely competent and super-pleasant in taking care of business!

DEA officer stops at a ranch in Texas and talks with an old rancher.
He tells the rancher, “I need to inspect your ranch for illegally grown drugs.”

The rancher says, “Okay, but do not go in that field over there,” as he points out the location.

The DEA officer verbally explodes saying, “Mister, I have the authority of the Federal Government with me.”

Reaching into his rear pants pocket, he removes his badge and proudly displays it to the rancher.

“See this badge? This badge means I am allowed to go wherever I wish… On any land. No questions asked or answer given. Have I made myself clear? Do you understand? ”

The rancher nods politely, apologizes, and goes about his chores.

A short time later, the old rancher hears loud screams and sees the DEA officer running for his life chased by the rancher’s big Santa Gertrudis Bull…

With every step, the bull is gaining ground on the officer, and it seems likely that he’ll get gored before he reaches safety.

The officer is clearly terrified.

The rancher throws down his tools, runs to the fence, and yells at the top of his lungs…

“Your badge… Show him your badge!”
