Two weeks ago my husband and I moved from Nutley, New Jersey to Boca Raton.
Started reading jeffeats.com around the same time and it looks like you got your finger on the food situation down here.
I maybe crazy, but I’d swear that you were in my Junior High School SP Class at Ditmas Junior High School. I also remember going to your Bar Mitzvah at Singer’s Hotel.

If you’re into lemonade- then you gotta try Trader Joe’s Fresh Squeezed Lemonade!
Trust Jeff Eats on this one, this lemonade is absolutely dynamite- it’s the real-deal…its only ingredients- water, sugar, lemon juice and it’s unpasteurized.
Just between you guys and me, I can’t recall ever drinking a better grocery store-bought lemonade!
Jeff Eats “discovered” this 52 oz- $3.49 absolute must try grand-slam delicious lemonade- yesterday at Trader Joe’s, 1851 South Federal Highway, Delray Beach, Florida 33483, 561-278-1493, Hours: 9AM – 9PM (Mon-Sun).

If you guys wanna eat off the chart- delicious pizza and garlic rolls, then you gotta go to Original Frankie’s Famous Pizza in Miami!
Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats have been going to Frankie’s for years- and trust me when I tell you the joint’s stuff is absolute dynamite! The only draw-back to Frankie’s is that it’s in Miami and Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats live in Boca Raton…
Long story short, last night we got down to Frankie’s (which by the way, is basically a takeout joint), ate in the car (I know!- sounds very romantic!)- and if you haven’t been there, make it your business to get to Original Frankie’s Famous Pizza!

Don’t plan on eating at Original Frankie’s Famous Pizza because it’s takeout only. The joint only has 2 menu items, pizza and garlic rolls. You want great stuff!-order yourself a pie and some rolls-Frankie’s must be doing something right–the joint has been around since 1955.

Original Frankie’s which has been around since 1955, is one of the greatest pizza joints on the face of the planet! Frankie’s is ALMOST-STRICTLY TAKEOUT, with 3 small tables outside in its rear parking lot- if you “”insist” on immediately eating your pizza!
Frankie’s sells TWO ITEMS…PIZZA and GARLIC ROLLS…By the way, the garlic rolls are also incredible.
There is absolutely nothing more to tell you about this joint except that you have to try it and that it is open Tuesday-Sunday– Noon-10pm.

Got a real good Chinese joint for you guys, Canton Lee Restaurant in Miami.
Real simple tale to tell you guys, last night Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats were the guests of our friends Andrew and Liz- at Canton Lee Restaurant (which they have raved about for years) and the food absolutely killed! Just so there is no misunderstanding between you guys and Jeff Eats, the term “guests of” means that Andrew and Liz picked-up the check! Anyway, free or not free (or should I say complimentary?)- the food was delicious!
No bs-here, while eating- I squinted my eyes (this squinting line- may sound politically incorrect to some) and I could’ve sworn that it was 1957 and that Jeff Eats (I) was on Avenue J in Brooklyn, New York at Joy Fong one of my all-time favorite Chinese joints eating delicious Brooklyn Jewish American Chinese Food!
To wrap Canton Lee Restaurant up for you guys, the joint is open Sunday 11am-10pm, Monday-Saturday 11am-10:30pm and you can check menu/prices/info at cantonleerestaurant.com.

Yesterday- Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” Whit’s Frozen Custard and all I can tell you- is if you like frozen custard- you will absolutely love this joint. Simple concept- order/pickup at counter, inside table & wall counter seating, very reasonably priced vanilla/chocolate/rotating daily and monthly flavors/toppings/shakes-malts menu, open 7 days a week noon-10pm, currently 51 U.S. store-chain with a handful of Florida joints- Boca Raton store opened in October,2019.
Let me wrap-up Whit’s Frozen Custard by saying that its custard is made fresh daily and is absolutely delicious!
