***** Renzo’s Cafe & Pizzeria, 1906 Clint Moore Road, Boca Raton, Florida 33496 (561) 994-0170.

In Boca, there are a handful of joints that have the name RENZO’s in their “title.” Just so there is no misunderstanding here—I’m talking about the Renzo’s Cafe & Pizzeria that’s right across from Calusa Elementary School on Clint Moore Road.

Okay…you can eat in (there a handful of tables inside and outside)–but, this is basically a takeout pizza joint. A “what you’d expect” red-sauce menu—appetizers, soups, salads, subs, pastas, calzones, pizza, meat-seafood-chicken entrees. You can check the menu/prices at www.renzoswest.com.

Tried this joint the other night and it is really good. “Sampled” a plain old large pizza, veal parm, chicken marsala, linguini-white clam sauce…like, I said really good—especially enjoyed the pizza which was thin-crispy-sweet sauce.

This is a neighborhood joint.

So you WEST Bocaratonians- now know about a really good joint for eat-in/takeout…that is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.

Haven’t been to the Clint Moore store but to the newest store on Yamato and 441. There was an older guy there making pizza the first time we went and the pizza was great, thin and crispy. Last time we ate there (only a few tables, mostly takeout) and the waitress was a complete halfwit. She got my order wrong and I ended up eating a slice of leftover-from-lunch Sicilian that was like $6. For one slice. It was disgusting and inedible. Waitress took the whole slice away and didn’t say a word about it. My husband went back and tried the Grandma Pizza. It was so salty he had to throw it out, it was also inedible and very expensive. Prices are ridiculous for pizza, not when there is a great pizza place a mile down the road that is cheaper, has more tables and has really great, NY style pizza. Try Casa L’Italien next to Doris’ Italian Market on Yamato between Lyons & 441. Dominic’s has the best Grandma Pizza.

The pizza at Renzo’s on Clint Moore is very good. The pizza at Renzo’s on Yamato Road is horrendous. Don’t know why but that’s the facts. Thought you’d like to know.

Renzo’s Cafe and Pizzeria on Clint Moore is my favorite. The pizza is delicious, thin crust, and flavour forward. Excellent customer service, and a great authentic italian menu! The delivery is always on time.
