***** Brewzzi, 2222 Glades Road, Boca Raton, Florida 33431 (561) 392-2739…700 South Rosemary Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33401 (561) 366-9753.

Brewzzi “calls” itself…”Italian American Bistro And Microbrewery.” There are 2 Brewzzi restaurants, one in Boca Raton, one in West Palm Beach. Over the years, I must have eaten in the Boca joint something like 10 times…I have not been to the West Palm Beach location.

Brewzzi is a great looking-casual restaurant. There is both indoor and outdoor patio seating. Check its website at www.brewzzi.com for menu/prices/photos.

Brewzzi reminds me a whole-lot of The Cheesecake Factory- in that it has something for everybody. This joint’s menu is packed and I do mean packed with appetizers, soups, salads, wraps, sandwiches, burgers, pastas, pizzas, meat/seafood/chicken entrees, desserts…and home-made beers.

Now let’s talk food…recently tried, caesar salad, meat-loaf, chicken parmigiana, lobster ravioli, bacon cheeseburger, french fries…all GOOD, Nothing really stood-out, but all in all, the meal was pretty decent. Service was good. Prices were very reasonable.

Let me do it this way…Brewzzi’s food is better than chain-operators like TGI Fridays, Ruby Tuesdays, Applebee’s, Chili’s, Duffy’s, Olive Garden, You-Name It Ale House…it is not even close to The Cheesecake Factory and your favorite-neighborhood pizzeria probably makes better stuff.

So that’s the skinny on Brewzzi which is open Sunday-Thursday 11am-10:30pm and Friday-Saturday 11am-11:30pm.

mark: Just had a chance to read your post. In all of the times that I have eaten at Brewzzi I have never eaten the pizza. If you look at my taste-test stuff you will note the bacon cheeseburger & fries, well that’s what I ordered. The rest of the dishes, were ordered by others in my party and “just” sampled for the writeup. If I am looking for Italian stuff, there are so many real-good “mom & pops” and white-tablecloth joints in S. Florida that Brewezzi doesn’t even enter the equation as far as I am concerned. By the way, all of the above doesn’t mean that the pizza isn’t good, it just means that I haven’t had it.

    Thanks for reading…

Jeff, ate there last night with you and will never ever set foot in there again.
last night my party of 4 arrived for dinner at 7pm. the boca restaurant was not busy and there were plenty of empty tables.
when i told the hostess there were 4 of us, she asked, “are they all here” i said yes and told her that the other 3 were standing right outside of the see thru glass door and pointed to them. the hostess said, ” i can’t seat you until they are inside”
amazed, i said and pointed to them, she abruptly turned away from me and started to take a 2 party to their table.
i asked to speak to a mgr, and a guy was brought over, i told him that this hostess was not treating us right and the guy just fluffed me off. saying ” if all arent inside we dont seat you.”
if we werent in a hurry, i would have left.
the food was ok, but nothing that you cant get elsewhere.
this front door business is absurd.
the owners of this business better keep a close eye on this, because if this sheeet was pulled on me its being pulled on others.
    i wont be back.
jeff, absolutely amazing how poorly run the front desk of this restaurant is run.

Haha I’m going to assume this is the guy that was with Jeff.
Good job getting your kicks by calling someone a “moronic kid”.
Only an overly pompous, self-righteous, prick would go so far as insult an innocent hostess for doing her job.
The world doesn’t revolve around you because you have a website that “critiques” food and uses the word joint so much that I’m surprised your half-wit friends who actually read this bs aren’t high already. Seriously, pick up a dictionary, I’m sure you could find a use for it in your pathetic life.
You might want to get a reality check, grandpa.
Please do a favor and don’t go back.
Your bad attitude and disgusting personality are not needed or wanted there.

you are obviously the hostess in question. your nasty dirty comments indicate that joe r may have this thing right.

I have lived in Boca Raton for the past 35 years. I have seen restaurants come and go.
When this one first opened it was very good. Don’t know what happened but over the years the food and service deteriorated.
In addition new bigger and better players came into the market.
The last time I was there was about 1 1/2 years ago. The food was mediocre and the service was what you’d expect nothing here nor there.
If you want to see WELL RUN, go to Cheesecake.
Want to see MEDIOCRE go to Brewzzis.
That’s why one has 100s of the stores and one has 2 stores.
      People know what’s what.

      Joe R.:

Just wanted to give you an update on our March 14, 2011 “adventure.”

About a week later, I received a call from one of the “owners” to find out as to exactly what transpired. He seemed very concerned about how we were treated and a few days later sent me a $100 gift card to use at the restaurant.

Solely based on the owner’s action, I will give this joint another try. Of course, you and your wife are invited to join me and Mrs. Jeff Eats.

jeff, the owners sending you a $100 gift card was a smart move.

jeff: pulled up some customer YELP reviews. Most agree that the food is just OK. In addition, take a look at the number of NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT THE SERVICE.

Why settle for just Ok food and half assed service when you can go to Cheesecake or Houston’s or J. Alexander’s or Season’s 52 which are within walking distance of this dump. I ate there once and that was it for me.

  6. zz says...

i stopped eating there years ago. for the same money i can eat much better food at cheesecake right across the street.

  7. melody says...

the food isnt all that good.
went there twice about 1 yr ago,
not going to see me again.

  8. Skipper says...

    Jeff,
This isn’t one isn’t at the top of my list when I think American casual in Boca. Several better choices for same money.

  9. Ernie K. Doe says...

    Ate there this evening.
    OK food but nothing special.

  10. Ron Friedman says...

If this place wasn’t in the Boca tourist corridor it would have gone out of business a very long time ago. The food and service are just fair.
The restaurant has been around for almost 20 years. It’s nver been updated or modernized.
It is very dark and could really use an update.
There are 2 of these places. One in Boca and one in City Place WPB.
The owners are real estate guys who probably got into this business purely by accident.
They really don’t run a top notch operation.

  11. George the Greek says...

The Pizza here is terrible, Italian food is just “OK” . Go for the Burgers , Chicken sandwich, or Salad, Thats the best here

  12. Pauly says...

I was down in CityPlace, West Palm recently. I noticed that the West Palm Beach location had closed down. Probably a combination of high rents and the lack of customer because the food and service sucked here too.

  13. Paul W says...

    Ditto to Pauly’s comments.
