Got a real good breakfast/lunch joint for you guys, East Ocean Cafe in Boynton Beach.

Real simple concept- handful of tables inside & outside, loads of reasonably priced- breakfast stuff, sandwiches, salads, open 7 days a week 7am-2pm.

Jeff Eats, Mrs. Jeff Eats, Daughter Jeff Eats, Son Jeff Eats and Jiggy The Dog Jeff Eats recently did breakfast- and I gotta tell you, all 5 of us loved East Ocean Cafe’s food, easy going vibe and super pleasant service!

And- finally, as I said 3 seconds ago, Jeff Eats, Mrs. Jeff Eats, Daughter Jeff Eats, Son Jeff Eats and Jiggy The Dog Jeff Eats did breakfast- for you dog folks, East Ocean Cafe’s outdoor patio-is absolutely perfect to do breakfast or lunch with the “entire family” (with the word “entire” being the operative word here)…

Cutting to the chase, no matter what anyone else tells you I- Jeff Eats “know” my bagels and deli- and I’m telling you guys that Bronx Bagel & Deli is an absolutely terrific joint and that you gotta try it!

Simple tale to tell, yesterday afternoon- Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” Bronx Bagel & Deli and trust me- the joint’s food was off the chart dynamite…order at counter-food delivered to tables, reasonably priced- all day breakfast/ salads/ sandwiches/ wraps/ burgers/ soups/ baked goods/ in house baked bagels & bialys menu, open Monday-Saturday 6:30am-3pm/Sunday 7am-3pm.

Let me wrap-up Bronx Bagel & Deli by saying that the joint absolutely killed! Over the years, Jeff Eats has been in a ton and I do mean a ton- of both full service and fast food Florida bagel/deli joints and I gotta tell you that Bronx Bagel & Deli is definitely one of the best that I’ve been to!

One of the premier productions in Florida, Lou Villano’s Paul Anka Tribute show is like watching and hearing Paul Anka himself. Lou becomes Paul Anka and along with The Destiny Band performs such fabulous hits as Diana, Lonely Boy, Put Your Head On My Shoulder, Puppy Love and You Are My Destiny to name just a few. The show also includes hits that Anka wrote for Tom Jones, Buddy Holly and Sammy Davis, Jr. This year Lou has incorporated some of Frank Sinatra’s greatest hits into his program, calling that part of the show, His Way – My Way. Simple tale to tell…last night Jeff Eats, Mrs. Jeff Eats and our long time friends Joe and Teresa Walsh (formerly from Brooklyn who now reside in Vero Beach) ate dinner at- Sean Ryan Pub and I gotta tell you that the joint’s food was right on the money! For the inquisitive out there, Joe and I first met at Brooklyn Law School in September, 1970, have been friends ever since and last night he picked-up the check! Indoor table and booth seating/ handful of outdoor tables, “standard” Irish Pub dark wood decor, full liquor bar, reasonably priced menu of American & Irish appetizers/ salads/ burgers/ sandwiches/ entrees, flat screen tvs, schedule of live music/events.

Let’s wrap-up Sean Ryan Pub by saying that the food was delicious, the “prices” were right (you guys do recall that I already told you- that Joe picked-up the check!), I love Joe like a brother, Mrs. Jeff Eats and Teresa have called each other every day since October, 1973 and you guys can check menu/prices/music and event schedule at seanryanspubvero.com.
