LaTraia Savage as Diana Ross & Whitney Houston
EXPLOSIVE, ALLURING, ELECTRIFYING, SULTRY and SASSY are all words used to describe LaTraia Savage, “Tampa Bay’s Diva of the music and entertainment biz!”
LaTraia Savage is a vocalist well-known for covering a wide variety of genres, including Jazz, R&B, Country, Big Band, Dance, Motown and more. She has opened shows for several national acts including Alicia Keys, Chris Brown, The S.O.S. Band, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Brian Culbertson and others. And currently, she’s touring with the legend, Glenn Leonard (former lead singer of The Temptations), Bertie Higgins (songwriter and producer of Key Largo) and R&B heart-throb Christopher Williams.
LaTraia is well-versed in theater, and has graced the stage of Busch Gardens theme park in the theatrical play KATONGA for one-and-a-half years. LaTraia (also known as ‘THE VOICE”) did a two-year stint acting and singing in the Off-Broadway play, THE ME NOBODY KNOWS. During that time, she also performed in two Sprite commercials. For three years, she burned the roof off of the dining Yacht StarShip cruise, nightly, with her band.
Currently, she is spreading her fire from Florida to Texas with her DIVAS OF SOUL Impersonation/Tribute show. She performs hits from Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Donna Summer, Beyonce, Diana Ross and several others. LaTraia has also headlined tours entertaining USA Military Troops in several venues in Europe, including Portugal, Italy, Spain, Rome, and Sicily, to name a few. Her most recent international tour landed her in China, where she’s due to return at the end of the year.
“The goddess of music and entertainment” was the featured artist in the February 2012 issue of Mayhem Magazine. In 2009, she sang the National Anthem at a New York Yankees game. She also recently (2014) performed this legendary tradition for the Rowdies Soccer game. Let’s not forget about her charity appearances, which include singing the National Anthem to kick off annual Breast Cancer Walk-a-thons and is currently working on a fundraiser event for Tay-Sachs disease.

Comedian Bobby Collins has an ability to truthfully translate the human condition. Audiences across the country relate to his comedic characterizations as he exposes the humor of day-to-day situations as well as serving up resplendent rants on world events.
Through precise physical timing and impeccable audience insight, he has honed his talents while performing from hole in the wall clubs to sold out theaters. His rise to top headlining, comedic master was inevitable. His true dedication to his craft is what keeps his vibrant shows consistently sold out.
A native New Yorker, Collins possesses a confidence and genuine everyman likeability that can only be earned. He knows what it is like to work a day job, in order to pursue a dream. He has flipped his share of burgers, as well as signing on as a substitute high school history teacher, to pay the bills, all the while performing in comedy clubs at night.
After heeding a conversation with his father, with some trepidation, he ventured into sales. Settling into the high fashion industry. A detour that proved so successful, that in the 1980s he had risen to Vice President at Calvin Klein. It was there that he found himself faced with a life changing decision; remain here or chuck the security (and more than substantial steady income) for the uncertain challenge of heading out on the road, to pursue his dream of becoming a professional, full time stand-up comedian.
It was a decision he has never regretted.
Realizing his dream has given Bobby the opportunity to tour with titans of entertainment like Frank Sinatra, Cher, Julio Iglesias and Dolly Parton. As a professional stand-up comedian, he has worked alongside friends, Chris Rock, Ray Romano and Drew Carey, as well as many others. Rosie ODonnell specifically requested that Bobby take over as host for Stand-Up Spotlight. Collins is widely regarded as a comics comic.
Through his personal appearances at Comedy Clubs, Theaters, Corporate and Charity events, coupled with innumerable television appearances on legendary shows like Letterman, The Tonight Show with both Jimmy Fallon and Jay Leno, Collins continues to add new fans of all ages to his loyal base of diehard followers.
It is his relationship with his audiences that results in sold out shows everywhere he makes an appearance. What you see is what you get – Collins is the same man on and off the stage. Bobby Collins has a genuine love for what he does. With such skillful dissection of everyday life, he weaves his uproarious storytelling with effortless flair and charisma as he successfully dismantles any and all socioeconomic, race and age divides. As evidenced by his birthday performance for Chelsea Clinton at the White House, to appearances in US embassies and USO shows abroad. Night after night, Bobby Collins masterfully reflects the hilarious truth – we’re all in this together!
Bobby currently has 5 CDs, 3 DVDs and a new special slated for early 2015.
With the critically acclaimed publication of his first book, On The Inside, Witisms and Wisdomisms by Comedian Bobby Collins we learn, through his personal and professional tragedies and triumphs, what has shaped his beliefs. With humorous recall, Bobby recounts his search for balance between career and family. The Boca Black Box is thrilled to welcome their friend, Bobby Collins, back to the stage this November!

In 1980, he joined REUNION as the lead singer, playing local venues and Rock N’ Roll shows throughout the state and in the Bahamas. In 2004, REUNION recorded the CD “Miracles,” featuring Walter on lead for many of their arrangements. In 1999, Walter had the privilege and pleasure of recording vocal tracks for Dion DiMucci’s “New Master’s” Album, and today, continues to record songs with Dion being seen and shared through social media.
Carmine DeSena was born in Brooklyn, NY, and was one of the original members of the Creations and Riffs and in the 1970’s he sang with the Ribtones. In 1980, he moved to Florida, and teamed up with Joel Bressler to create REUNION, South Florida’s Premier Show Band. Carmine is also called upon by Dion DiMucci as Baritone on his video recordings shared on social media. Carmine has been influential with “keeping the music alive,” and has been a member of many well known Doo-wop and oldies groups, bringing decades of harmony experience, energy, and excitement to every show he performs in.
Sal Sofia hails from the Bronx, NY, where he grew up with a family of singers, musicians, and entertainers. With a deep affection for music and harmony, he became interested in the deeper vocal group sounds of the 50’s and set out to host his own show, the Doo-Wop Groove on AM/FM stations, heard throughout the New York area. Sal has been a collector of the “rare” sounds of the genre and moved to Florida in 2003, where he began singing with several local acapella groups, achieving notoriety with The Dons of Doo Wop, a successful acapella group. Today, he can be seen and heard joining Dion DiMucci with his strong second tenor style on recordings Dion shares across social media to all of his fans.

Halloween is a celebration in remembrance of the dead that occurs annually on the evening of October 31. The name Halloween (sometimes spelled Hallowe’en) is a contraction of All Hallows’ Even(ing), meaning All Saints’ Evening, as it is celebrated on the evening before All Saints’ Day, also known as All Hallows’ Day. Saints have historically been known as hallows, derived from the Old English word hālig and related to the German word heilig, meaning holy.
Halloween is a mixture of customs of pagan and Christian origins. It originated from an ancient Celtic seasonal festival, known as Samhain, to mark the end of the harvest and to remember the dead that is celebrated from sunset on October 31 to sunset on November 1.
While not an official holiday, it is observed in a number of countries around the world, primarily in the West (North America and Europe) but also increasingly in Asian countries, as it provides commercial opportunities. In the United States, it is estimated to be the festival with the second-highest amount of consumer spending after Christmas.
Halloween is followed by All Saints’ Day (for which it is the vigil) on November 1 and All Souls’ Day on November 2. Together the three days of remembrance of the dead form the triduum (a religious observance lasting three days) of Hallowtide. People traditionally visit the graves of deceased relatives during this time. It is related to the Mexican holiday Day of the Dead.
My name is Jeff. I was born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. Since 1991, I have lived in South Florida and have eaten in so many restaurants down here, that I now consider myself to be a food expert.
