Banana Chocolate Chip Nut Bread.

Earlier this morning while shopping at The Fresh Market, 5540 North Military Trail, Boca Raton, Florida 33496, (561) 994-2221 I came across The Fresh Market’s (house brand)- Banana Chocolate Chip Bread and I gotta tell you guys- it looked amazingly delicious and its $4.49 BOGO price seemed like a no- brainer- buy of a lifetime!

Au contraire!

You guys and Jeff Eats both know that this food reviewing “gig” is purely a subjective call- you know, what I like, you might hate and vice versa!

Let’s just say that-after one bite, both Banana Chocolate Chip Nut Breads ended-up in the old garbage can! I really can’t explain it, but the bread had absolutely and I do mean absolutely- no taste whatsoever! No bs- it was literally like eating a mushy cottonball!

Stand-up comedian Mike Marino – affectionately known to fans as “New Jersey’s Bad Boy” – brings his hysterical take on the Italian-American experience to The RRazz Room at Mizner Park Cultural Center!

A native of Jersey City, Mike’s material is largely inspired by his own life, from his Italian family roots to his edgy observations about everyday life. His riotous approach to stand-up has taken him from The Tonight Show and Comics Unleashed to sitcoms – including appearances on Frasier and Becker – and major nightclubs, theatres, and casinos from New York City to Los Angeles and around the world.

Mike has also been a highlight of Montreal’s Just For Laughs Comedy Festival for seven years in a row. And in 2008, Marino was inducted into the New Jersey Comedy Hall Of Fame, and on 2015, he was awarded the USO Bob Hope Comedy Award for his regular performances for our US military. I know that Dice is a very controversial fellow- that said, if you haven’t yet seen him live, do yourself a big favor and go see him! Just between you guys and Jeff Eats, Andrew Dice Clay is a living legend and will go down in history as one America’s most famous comedians of all time! Real simple concept at work here- breakfast/lunch menu, table/booth/counter seating, open 7 days a week 8am-2pm.

Yesterday morning, Jeff Eats, Mrs. Jeff Eats and two other couples (for the math challenged out there- I think that’s a total of 6 people) did breakfast at Griddle Girlz and like I said a couple of seconds ago, the joint is a real good “mom & pop” diner- just so we are all on the same page, Griddle Girlz hasn’t re-invented the diner-wheel or anything like that- what you get is- reasonably priced delicious food, big portions, pleasant service in a no hassle/no drama strip center setting!

Trust Jeff Eats on this one, if you’re into the whole “mom & pop” diner concept, you’ll like this joint…

First things first- 1. You don’t have to be “kosher” to eat at Levy’s Kosher Of Hollywood, 2. Levy’s Kosher Of Hollywood serves “desert”😜.

Just between you guys and Jeff Eats, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats aren’t “kosher” and we- don’t eat “desert”- but we kinda think that we know- when outrageously delicious food is being served-up!

With the above in mind, Jeff Eats, Mrs. Jeff Eats and our friends Norman and Lynn (who also- aren’t “kosher” and who also- don’t eat “desert”) did a recent Levy’s Kosher Of Hollywood dinner and I gotta tell you, the joint’s food blew all four of us away- absolutely delicious stuff!

Got another secret to share with you guys, Levy’s Kosher Of Hollywood’s chocolate babka is one of the best that Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats (and for what it’s worth- Norman and Lynn)- have eaten down here in sunny South Florida over the past 25 years and 21 years respectively! I’m telling you guys, off the chart, delicious!
