Elon Gold is a comedian and actor who has starred in FOX’s ‘Stacked’ and NBC’s ‘In-Laws’. His one hour stand up special on Netflix, “Elon Gold: Chosen & Taken” received wide acclaim from audiences and peers alike. It is currently streaming on Amazing Prime.

He has made ten appearances on ‘The Tonight Show’ and had a recurring role on the FOX hit show, ‘Bones’.
Elon was a writer/performer on ABC’s ‘The Dana Carvey Show’ and has guest starred on ‘Frasier’, ‘The Mentalist’, ‘Chappelle’s Show’ among others.

Got a real good Chinese joint for you guys- Golden Pavilion in Jupiter.

Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats recently did an early dinner there- and I gotta tell you, Golden Pavilion’s food was right on the money!

In addition to a menu loaded with real good Brooklyn Jewish American Chinese Food circa 1957- Golden Pavilion has a dim sum menu (served every day) for you guys who like to play that game!

Just between us guys, Boca Raton resident Jeff Eats can only think of two eat-in Chinese joints by my house-(5 miles) whose food comes even close to being as good as Chinese Pavilion’s is! By the way, 42 miles one way- is way outside of Golden Pavilion’s delivery radius!

Yesterday- Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” Whit’s Frozen Custard and all I can tell you- is if you like frozen custard- you will absolutely love this joint. Simple concept- order/pickup at counter, inside table & wall counter seating, very reasonably priced vanilla/chocolate/rotating daily and monthly flavors/toppings/shakes-malts menu, open 7 days a week noon-10pm, currently 51 U.S. store-chain with a handful of Florida joints- Boca Raton store opened in October,2019.

Let me wrap-up Whit’s Frozen Custard by saying that its custard is made fresh daily and is absolutely delicious!

Now, you guys and Jeff Eats both know that this whole food blog “reviewing” situation is purely one big subjective call- you know, what I like, you may hate and vice versa!

With that in mind, last night while shopping at The Fresh Market located at 5540 North Military Trail, Boca Raton, Florida 33496, (561) 994-2221) I came across (refrigerated) The Fresh Market’s in-house brand- Large Chicken Egg Roll- Pkg 3- $5.97 and I gotta tell you guys- baked for 20 minutes in a 400 degree oven and you got off the chart delicious chicken egg rolls!

Like I said a few seconds ago, what I like you may hate and vice versa. All I know, is that in my day- I’ve probably eaten something like a ton of chicken egg rolls and that The Fresh Market’s chicken egg rolls rank right up there with the best that I’ve ever eaten!

The Skinny- the joint opened about 3 months ago, table/hi-top/counter seating, menu of reasonably priced- pizzas/salads/calzones/wings/subs/garlic rolls/beers/wines, open Monday-Thursday 11am–10pm/ Friday–Saturday 11am-11pm/ Sunday noon–10pm.

Last night, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats gave Pizza District a shot and I gotta tell you that the joint killed it! Absolutely delicious thin crust pepperoni pizza/ garlic rolls/ chicken parm sub/ Greek salad!

Let me wrap this tale up by telling you guys- that Pizza District’s delicious food/ pleasant service/ reasonable prices/ cool looking “steel” decor/ easy going vibe- spell winner in Jeff Eats’ book!
