Got a real good “mom & pop” red sauce Italian joint for you guys to check-out, Aunt Lulu’s NY Style Pizza & Kitchen in Boca Raton.

Real simple tale to tell- last night, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” Aunt Lulu’s NY Style Pizza & Kitchen (located in a requisite bombed-out South Florida strip center) and I gotta tell you guys- that the joint’s food was- delicious! Inside table seating/ small handful of outdoor tables, reasonably priced menu featuring appetizers/ soups/ salads/ pizzas/ calzones/ strombolis/ hot & cold subs/ wings/ entrees/ desserts/ other stuff!

Like I said 2- seconds ago, the joint’s food was absolutely delicious…

Last but surely not least, Aunt Lulu’s wait and back of the house staff was off-the-chart good! Despite the masks, dine-in orders and loads of take-out orders, the crew was extremely competent and super-pleasant in taking care of business!

Yesterday, Jeff Eats, Mrs. Jeff Eats, Daughter Jeff Eats and Son Jeff Eats “discovered” Salvo’s Pizzeria and I gotta tell you- the joint’s food absolutely killed!

Like I said 12 seconds ago, Salvo’s Pizzeria is located in the Delray Beach Market- which is basically a gigantic food-court. Salvo’s menu is a bare bones situation but trust me, the pizza, garlic knots, risotto balls which we had were delicious!

Simple tale to tell, last night Jeff Eats, Mrs. Jeff Eats, Daughter Jeff Eats and Son Jeff Eats “discovered” Lu Garden and the joint’s food killed! Indoor booth/table seating/small handful of outdoor tables, reasonably priced Brooklyn Jewish American Chinese Food circa 1957/Authentic Real Chinese Food menu, open Sunday 12pm-11pm/Monday-Thursday 11am-11pm/Friday-Saturday 12pm-12am.

When four of Santa’s elves got sick, the trainee elves did not produce toys as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the Christmas pressure.

Then, Mrs. Claus told Santa her mother was coming to visit, which stressed Santa even more.

He went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out, Heaven knows where.

When he began to load the sleigh, one of the floorboards cracked, the toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys were scattered.

Frustrated, Santa went in the house for a glass of cider and a shot of rum. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider jug, and it broke into hundreds of little glass pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found the mice had eaten all the straw off the end of the broom.

Just then the doorbell rang, and an irritated Santa marched to the door, yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big Christmas tree. The angel said very cheerfully, ‘Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn’t this a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?’

And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree.

Not a lot of people know this.

Dear Jeff,

My husband and I are recent (181 days ago) transplants from Manhattan to Royal Palm Beach and we are desperate for a good pastrami on rye. We’ve tried a number of South Florida bagel joints, kosher delis and various sandwich shops and to be honest “not good”.

Not expecting to find stuff like we were raised on like Katz’s, Carnegie, Sarge’s, Stage, 2nd Avenue and Lindy’s- but something “almost close”- would work for us!

Location wise…The closer the better to our Royal Beach condo, but we will definitely travel to fress!
