I can’t begin to tell you how many times during the past 34 years I’ve been asked “Who has the best bagels in South Florida?”
Now you guys all know that this food “reviewing” gig is purely a subjective call – what I like – you may hate and vice versa…
With that in mind, I gotta rate Bagels With Deli which has 1 Boca Raton and 2 Delray Beach locations as my current pick for bagels, appetizing, deli meats, spreads, cream cheeses, salads, breakfast, sandwiches, coffees, baked goods. Simple concept, order -pickup at counter, indoor and outdoor table seating.
Like I just said, 3 locations- (Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats have eaten at/taken out from all 3 a number of times- and the food and counter service were dynamite).
Trust Jeff Eats on this one, if your tastebuds are even close to being like mine, you will absolutely love Bagels With Deli’s hand rolled/boiled/baked bagels, not to mention its killer tuna and chicken salads and hot pastrami and corned beef on rye!
For-sure, there are tons of terrific bagels/ joints in South Florida with Bagels With Deli being Shohei Ohtani (Babe Ruth)!
Bagels With Deli is an absolute must try!

For your readers I HAVE EATEN AT ALL 3 locations and they are all terrific. The East Delray opened years ago and has a handful of tables. About 2 years ago the West Delray loc opened and it has loads of tables. The Boca loc opened a couple of weeks ago and has loads of tables.

My wife and I tried the new Boca Raton store last Wednesday and the food was excellent. Mixed dozen Bagels were delicious and the tuna she had and the lox on et bagel I had were delicious. We also took out scallion cream cheese and a lb of pastrami and both were terrific. Great modern decor and the counter staff was as pleasant as could be.
Ive been to all 3 and they all have really good bagels and excellent food.
Ate in the new Boca spot yesterday.. Me and my friends really enjoyed the joint. The Delray E and W spots were a bit far for us to go to but we had been and enjoyed both.

My family has lived in Boca Raton for 43 years. We know our bagels from Brooklyn before that.
We have been in loads of Florida bagel joints and despite what many think there are a load of some very good ones.
We have tried all 3 and these guys are cream of the crop.
Ate breakfast at west location and it was jammed. Had onion bagel with some nova and it was delicious. Great looking joint with plenty of seating.
