That’s an old army photo of Joey Dale who passed away this past March, 2020. Joey was a fantastic musician who in addition to being a tremendous doo-wop performer with his South Florida based group Joey Dale & the Gigolos produced doo wop/and other concerts all over South Florida. Joey was a fun, kind and wonderful man.

I checked out joeydale.com and its a photo of the late Joey Dale. Hard to believe because the Joey Ive seen countless times in his 60s and 70s looked nothing like Charlie Sheen.

I can’t believe my eyes but the photo is of a young Joey Dale who looks like Charlie Sheen. Joey had a great doo wop group in Florida and put on some terrific shows in Florida.
I’m going all in on Joey Dale.
My husband and I must have seen Joey Dale & the Gigolos at least 10 times. In addition we saw Joey’s Motown In Motion show 4 times. We also saw Joey’s oldies show at Coral Springs Center which was terrific.

The picture in the contest is of Joey Daleo aka Joey Dale. For you guys who din’t know Joey who passed away in his upper 70s in March, he was a jack of all trades in the music business. Not the greatest singer, he was definitely a showman who could really get a crowd up and dancing. For years he fronted a doo-wop group called Joey dale 7 The Gigolos which played all over Florida. Joey also produced other groups with one of the best Motown tribute acts in the business Motown In Motion which is a show stopping temps & 4 Top revue show. Joey also produced huge oldie shows in Florida and a few years back he penned an autobiography which told the story of his years as an owner of after hours club in Brooklyn, New York.
Joey Dale was quite a character. He was always planning a new project.
Joey Dale was a one of kind and he was a man who really lived life.
I met Joey 20 years ago and had countless breakfasts with him and enjoyed his ventures.
