* Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo.

Got something that might be of interest to some of you guys and gals out there- Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo.

Simple story, in recent months Jeff Eats has read a number of articles- as to how caffeine (coffee) when shampooed into the hair helps to strengthen existing hair, prevent or decrease loss of hair and in certain instances grow new hair.

Jeff Eats has no idea as to whether caffeine-coffee “does” anything to a person’s hair!

What I do know- is that I got a big old evergrowing bald spot on my head- and two days ago I purchased 2 bottles of Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo on Amazon.com and I’m gonna give this shampoo a shot!

If this is of interest to you, Google- Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo and you’ll find a ton of articles about the product and where you can buy it!

    Jeff,
Never even considered coffee as a hair treatment.
Read your article and then did a GOOGLE search on coffee and hair and was amazed at whet I found. For roughly 14 bucks I ordered 2 bottles of Alpecin on line. We’ll see if it works.

  2. Andy Gold says...

Very interesting articles on the subject.
What the heck, just purchase 2 bottles on lookfantastic.com.

I’ll let you know if Alpecin works.

  3. Anthony Franza says...

    Jeff,
    Interesting theory.
In US you can only buy it online.
    Ordered 4 bottles.
Should get delivery in a few days.
Going to start adding coffee to my every day Shampoo regiment.
Never know if something works until you try it.

  4. Lo Lo says...

Alpecin just got an order from me for 2 bottles. The articles say maybe yes but probably no on growing new hair. What the hell, Ive been using Rogaine for over 10 years with minimal success.
For a few dollars it’s worth taking a shot on Coffee Shampoo.

  5. Ellen G says...

    Jeff,
For years Ive washed my hair with coffee and I am telling you, it makes the hair softer, stops fallout/grows hair and adds a luxurious shine. One negative, if you have light or grey hair too much use darkens the hair, so you have to be careful.

  6. Bob Kramer says...

Ive used Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo for over 2 years. Great Shampoo for dandruff control and softness. Also strengthens hair but As far as I’m concerned nothing to hair growth claims.
    Try it for yourself.

  7. Joe Kennedy says...

Never knew about coffee and hair care. It never entered my mind. Same thing with Jeff Eats’ witch hazel story. I started using witch hazel and I’m now purchasing Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo.

  8. Zed says...

    Jeff,
    Great story.
    Something totally different.

  9. SidRidesABike says...

I am going to try the Alpecin Shampoo for a few months and see if there are any real results to report.

Alpecin Review – Get the FactsHAIR LOSS TREATMENTS LAST UPDATED: APRIL 12, 2017
Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo is made up of a caffeine enhanced formula that immediately provides the hair roots with ingredients that help counteract premature hair loss, strengthen hair and speed up hair growth. For those of you unfamiliar with the effective use of caffeine to stop hair loss, the Alpecin review below will explain it’s prognosis for helping hair to grow stronger, faster and thicker. Alpecin is also an ideal shampoo to use as part of an affordable routine to fight hair loss like the daily treatment outlined in this article.

If you’ve never tried this shampoo, or are considering trying it, this Alpecin review should help you decide if it’s the next product you’ll be adding to your routine.

    Alpecin Review
    Does Alpecin Work?
After using Alpecin for only a few months, there were obvious results. I noticed within the first few weeks that my hair wasn’t breaking off like it used to, and it already had more of a natural shine. Most importantly, it’s reduced the numbers of hairs that I lose. I rarely see hairs in my hands, or in the sink and shower like I used to. In my humble opinion, does Alpecin work? YES, it works! So basically, Alpecin not only serves to reduce hair loss, but also promotes healthier, shinier hair.

You may also be interested in how to hide your hair loss easily and affordably with Toppik.

I’ll be honest – I had my doubts at first, and was on the fence as to whether or not Alpecin was a gimmick. I’m big on sticking with what I know is a solid product and works, like Lipogaine for my minoxidil fix. However, after a great deal of research and few years of use, I am totally sold and will definitely continue to use this shampoo. I had to use a shampoo anyway, so naturally I am quite pleased to find one that helps me keep my hair. It’s also worth mentioning that I scoured the internet reading information from others who have written about their results in an Alpecin Review, and almost all of these reviews have been very encouraging.

NOTE: I think it’s very important to understand the purpose of this shampoo. Alpecin reduces hair loss and strengthens existing weak hairs or hair roots. It is NOT a hair growth product like Lipogaine. For this reason, it is perfect as a regular shampoo to use with a daily hair loss treatment routine.

    Alpecin is affordable
This site focuses on affordable ways to deal with hair loss, and let’s face it; shampoo is something we all use anyway. Alpecin is not that much more expensive than a decent regular shampoo, whereas most other shampoo products designed to battle hair loss cost quite a bit more.

    Search Amazon for Alpecin shampoo.

    Ingredients?
The caffeine complex used in Alpecin is an active ingredient formula from caffeine, the trace element zinc, vitamin A and niacin.

    How does Alpecin work?
Alpecin Caffeine Shampoo C1 contains caffeine that helps to stimulate hair growth directly at the roots. Caffeine promotes hair growth and has been proven to reduce hereditary hair loss. The main culprit of hereditary hair loss is DHT, and once inside the hair follicle, caffeine counters harmful effects of DHT.

Studies were performed in a Hair Organ Culture Model (HOCM ) at the Division of Dermatology and Allergies of Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany (Dr. T. W. Fischer, Prof. Dr. P. Elsner). According to research done at the University of Jena, hair follicles that were treated with caffeine showed a highly significant growth rate after 24 hours, and further significant growth was observed after eight days.

The measurement of total culture time in the HOCM yielded further evidence that caffeine exerts a positive effect on the vitality of hair roots. The hair follicles exposed to caffeine under culture conditions exhibited a 37% longer lifetime in comparison with the control.

This information has been used to create Alpecin. Special carriers have been developed by Alpecin to allow the caffeine complex to be delivered directly into the hair roots.

Alpecin Caffeine penetrates even though the shampoo is rinsed out. In just a short time (2 min), caffeine travels along the hair shaft directly into the hair follicles. The caffeine complex remains on the scalp for 24 hours, which effectively blocks the formation of DHT that causes hair follicle shrinkage. If you leave the shampoo on your hair for longer more caffeine will be absorbed into the scalp.

    I’m going to try it.

Alpecin Shampoo Reviews – Best to Worst Hair Growth Shampoos

    Alpecin Shampoo Reviews
Looking for the ideal hair growth shampoo that will at least help maintain your current hair (and thickness), or help improve hair growth on your scalp is important for many men and women today; speaking of which, the Alpecin shampoo has come under scrutiny many times, that people looking for Alpecin shampoo reviews often get disheartened when they find out what that the Alpecin shampoo is, and does for hair.

The problem with the Alpecin Shampoo, and many other similar caffeine based shampoos, is that they are not created for resolving the problem – The Alpecin shampoo does make hair appear thicker – but this is temporary effect which is because the hair gets saturated with various ingredients designed to make hair look thicker – but for actual hair growth, and real hair thickening, it does nothing for that, in-fact, it could make hair worse off because it may cause inflammation.

Inflammation is the actual biological process that makes the hair follicle shrivel up and stop producing hair – so even if your problem is DHT related, or genetic hair loss, or stress hair loss – they all in cause inflammation, which then causes the hair loss (among other diseases).

Does the Alpecin shampoo help resolve this issue?

As explained – the Alpecin shampoo only makes the hair appear to look better, but this is because oil based ingredients make hair look thicker if done right – that is why people have complained about hair drying out after washing – this happens because the ingredients in it lock in the moisture (which is not a good thing in this specific case) making the hair strand thicker for a few hours, and drying the external, so it does not give a wet look.

Some people don’t mind having a temporary solution and are not as bothered with their hair falling out – so they are usually happy about this – whilst some who are looking to resolve the hair problem – they need to realize it takes a lot more effort to regrow hair.

So, what are the best hair growth shampoos that actually help with the source of the problem and not artificially enhance appearance?

You can use other products to help with hair growth – but you have to remember, buying products alone is not helpful if you don’t improve your diet, and especially start exercising at a better regular rate (it helps not only detox the body, but unclogs the smaller blood vessels for improving circulation and allowing better production of hair) – scalp massage does this at a local level on the head, helping hair growth improve over a period of 3 months.

When all that is taken care of, then you can use products to super-charge your regime with the oil for scalp called the Immortal’s Oil:

The Immortal’s Oil for hair – designed to target inflammation, scalp detox and much more – Supplies for this are always limited, as the ingredients on making it are very hard to get. The ingredients are so pure, that the oil is even edible – yet powerful enough to start working from the first day in stopping inflammation – be it for hair loss, or skin problems (don’t worry, it won’t grow hair on the wrong places if applied on the face and body – it simply does not work that way).

The ingredients of the Immortal’s Oil are so hard to locate, that they aren’t even listed in the English language – only locals that live in the area know about it – which is the strangest thing in today’s modern world of knowledge being available online, these kind of situations still take place.

It does last very long, and daily use is strongly suggested for this – using scalp massage to further aid to the de-calcification of the scalp.

That said – you cannot rely on one aspect and expect great hair growth results – you need to understand that this is a problem that needs to be tackled on many levels – one level is locally, another level is mental (are you stressed more than healthy levels?) as well as the correct amount of nutrition and diet going in your body.

Even if you are taking correct nutrients in your body; you may not be absorbing them because your body has been too abused from previous bad eating habits – to resolve this, bone soup is an ideal way to do this, as it helps restore the stomach with its proper acidity levels and enzymes so the body can absorb more nutrients from food than it could before.

I wish you well in your health and well being.

How come it’s only available online?

  17. Ronnie T says...

    Jeff,
    You maybe onto something here.

For glossy hair, brew strong organic coffee and apply it to your hair as a hair rinse to make it shinier.

Coffee can do wonders for your hair, the caffeine helps to increase circulation thus stimulating the hair for faster growth. The rich anti oxidants helps to repair damage and prevent breakage. Coffee hair rinse helps to clarify your hair naturally, creating shine and softness.

To make a coffee hair spray:

Brew organic black coffee and pour it in a hair spray.
While in the shower after you shampoo your hair, spray the coffee to the roots of the hair.
Gently massage in as a cleansing scalp treatment.
Let it sit for 10-15mins before you rinse off with cold water.

    Jeff,
I found your story very interesting about coffee and hair.

I never even considered coffee as a hair treatment.

This morning I started a coffee regimen. I brewed two big pots of coffee and refrigerated them. I am going to wash my hair each morning with the cold coffee followed with my regular shampoo and conditioner.

In 3 months I’ll let you know if there is any new hair growth on my crown and temple areas.
