Here’s a scoop for you guys, Way Beyond Bagels located in Delray Beach recently acquired the Palm Beach Bagel Bakery & Restaurant location at 9858 Clint Moore Road, Boca Raton, Florida 33496. Literally as Jeff Eats types this “scoop” a remodel is underway at the store- which will be renamed Way Beyond Bagels! The full service restaurant (operated by Way Beyond Bagels) is open- during the renovation! Just so you know, this “deal” will leave 2 Palm Beach Bagel joints open- 1200 Yamato Road, Boca Raton and 533 Clematis Street, West Pam Beach (palmbeachbagel.net).

Printed down below are previous Jeff Eats’ tales- about both Way Beyond Bagels and Palm Beach Bagel!

If Jeff Eats was a betting man, I’d bet you guys a buck that the new Way Beyond Bagels’ joint- will be an absolute homerun-goldmine! That’s usually what happens when you make outrageously delicious stuff!

***** Way Beyond Bagels, 16850 Jog Road, Delray Beach, Florida 33446, (561) 638-1320.

Way Beyond Bagels makes some of the best bagels and bialys in all of South Florida. In addition, its appetizing…like tuna salad, chicken salad are absolutely superb.

Check menu/prices at www.waybeyondbagels.com.

This joint opened about 5 years ago as a take-out which had a few outdoor tables. Based on its immediate and overwhelming success, Way Beyond Bagels rented the store next to its shop and created a cafeteria-type setup where you can eat the stuff that you purchase at the counter. In addition to all types of bagels, bialys, breads, rolls and cold appetizing, Way Beyond Bagels also has hot breakfast items and meats.

This joint is open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch. On Saturday and Sunday it is absolutely “zoosville.” I am telling you that Way Beyond Bagels’ stuff is as good as it gets down here in South Florida…that’s why it is always jammed with eat-in and take-out orders.

Palm Beach Bagel Bakery & Restaurant has literally taken Boca Raton by storm…in 2 short years, this bagel-deli has opened 3 terrific joints. The original location is on Clint Moore Road…the second and third locations are at, 21065 Powerline Road, Boca Raton (561) 477-7077 and 1200 Yamato Road, Boca Raton (561) 998-8868.

Down here in South Florida, you don’t get away with opening 3 joints in record time, without having the goods…Palm Beach’s bagles/bialys are terrific… not to mention delicious appetizing, deli meats, sandwiches, wraps, soups and salads.

Palm Beach Bagel’s 3 locations are open 7 days a week from 7am-3pm.

PBB was excellent but sometimes the staff seemed kind of out of it.

The Clint Moore location was always much better then the Yamato store.

I really don’t get Way Beyond Bagels – it really isn’t that good. Many other bagels stores so no big deal.

  2. KAT says...

    Jeff,
I have to agree with you, the new location is going to be a huge winner. The store on Jog is terrific and does great business.

  3. Roy Colby says...

New store is now closed for a total remodel.

Just picked up bagels at original store and they are definitely the best in the area. They are just as good as the ones in the five boroughs.

I have been a big Way Beyond fan for years. Looking forward to trying the new location when it opens.

  4. Janet T says...

My husband and I ate breakfast in new location yesterday and everything was terrific. We like the original location which is self serve but love the new wait staff location.

  5. Mal Silver says...

Just picked up bagels at new location.
Some of the best Ive had in Florida since moving here 22 years ago from The Bronx!

  6. Dawn says...

Well first I have to say that I have been a way beyond bagels fan for years I live on Clint Moore next to the new location so traveling to your motto wasn’t such a big deal however having way beyond bagels next-door to me it can’t get much better than that
The bagels are great the food is amazing try the lobster rolls however the people who own it are very rude always have been even at the Yamato location same thing in the new location but I have to say it’s worth it to put up with the condescending attitude not a better bagel place anywhere

  7. Greg A says...

Went to the new store on 441 and bagels were delicious. Just like other location takeout is in a state of utter confusion.

  8. Ronnie W says...

The new location on Clintmore needs some fine tuning. Waited 10 Minutes yesterday to order takeout because countermen were too busy making food for eat in customers. If it’s bagels weren’t so good I would have just left and gone elsewhere.

  9. Kevin R says...

    Terrific bagels.

  10. Dora S says...

    Best bagels going.
    Love both locations.

  11. Lisa G says...

    New to the area.
Heard about Jeff Eats from some friends who live in Delray Beach.
Read your Way Beyond Bagels’ write up and gave the Clintmore store a try yesterday morning picking up some tuna salad, chicken salad and a 1/2 dozen bagels and you made a great call on this bagel store. Some of the best bagels that Ive eaten anywhere, same for the salads.
Looking forward to trying many more of your picks.

  12. Harvey says...

WARNING….DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE..
MANAGER IS A REAL LOW LIFE. LOW CLASS. JERK
    with a condescending attitude.
    TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

  13. Joey G says...

    Love their bagels.
They are the best that this Brooklynite who moved to Boca 30 years has found in Florida.

  14. mr. Zimmerman says...

    Bought bagels yesterday.
They are by far and away the best bagels Ive had in Florida since moving here 2 years ago from Bayside, Queens.
    Hands down the best.

  15. John Eisner says...

Their bagels are awesome. Best in Florida. They are as good if not better than bagels made in NYC.

  16. Kelly G says...

I get bagels from both locations. They both have delicious bagels.
