    Jeff,
Looked at ticket map. Very few tickets sold for this show. Tufano is on a load of other shows in the area and why pay to see him as a solo act when you can get him and other acts for the same money? Promoter made a mistake booking this show. By the way Tufano is very good but not really a strong enough stand alone act.

SidRidesABike is so off the mark. You have obviously not seen Dennis Tufano perform recently or you would never have said that. The man has the energy of a room full of 5 year olds, and he is a born entertainer. He is faithful to Bobby Darin’s music, yet makes it his own, and as Jeff said, it is a high energy show that will not only take the roof off, but your socks as well. He is performing in 3 shows this weekend in Florida, each is hundreds of miles away from the other. Get your facts straight. And he is worth the price of these tickets and SO MUCH MORE. So if you are considering this show, go! You won’t be disappointed – this is an entertainer of the highest caliber, and the music with a live band and a horn section cannot be beat! Jeff’s got it right – you should not miss this show!!

      Webhead,
Tufano is a very good act.
If you check he is working a large number of Florida shows. Not one of those shows has him as the headliner other than this one.
Facts are facts, look at the ticket sales for tonight and compare them with previous shows and he upcoming shows where he was/is second or third billed. Facts are facts. Ticket sales from what I can see are very weak for this solo outing. Facts are facts. The way I see it, if Tufano is combined with other acts he’s gold, on his own, not so golden.
By the way, I loved The Bunckinghams and saw him a number of years ago with Sonny Geraci and Tufano is very good, just not strong enough to go it alone obviously in a tough Florida market.

Facts are facts! Dennis is a consummate professional … singing his old hits and an array of other classics. He has no peers if he’s doing his Bobby Darin tribute. My wife and I see countless artists from the 60’s – 70’s each year where we subscribe to multiple venues … and he’s one of the few who still has it … in good shape, engaging personality, warm smile and an amazingly strong, spot-on voice. Wish we were in town for this show.

No question that he is a very good performer.
Problem he has with this particular show is that there is apparently little interest in seeing him at the Ormand Center.

Looking forward to seeing Tufano in Boca Raton this coming March. He is with Jay & The Americans, The Drifters and others. Now, this is terrific show. Most people that I know love The Buckinghams’ hits but really have very little interest in bobby Darin’s music. Now you know that Tufano is going to sing The Buckingham’s hits in Boca so I ask you which show is stronger Boca or tonight’s show? You know the answer.

Tonight is a good show but it isn’t a strong show ticket wise because Tufano really doesn’t have big name recognition on his own.

To the person saying Dennis Tufano will NOT be singing to a full house … You are totally wrong. He WILL fill the place and he WILL leave them asking for more!

By the time you wrote your comment he had already started to perform to a near empty house.

We just got home from the show. Sadly, it wasn’t sold out. My wife and I along with our group of friends thought the show was terrific and he can easily stand on his own as a performer. It was a great show and we would gladly see him again.
