***** Michael’s Pizzeria, 1156 East Hillsboro Boulevard, Deerfield Beach, Florida 33441, (954) 426-1515.

Got a real good “mom & pop” hole in the wall-pizza joint for you, Michael’s Pizzeria which opened April 1, 2014.

Nothing fancy going on here…order at/pick up at the counter–handful of tables inside/handful outside.

Michael’s menu has the full boat of expected appetizers, subs, pastas, pizzas, salads, entrees.

You can check michaels-pizzeria.com for menu/prices/other stuff. When you’re checking…not sure how long this-all lasts, but Michael’s got- 15% off any $25 order, buy any sub and get the second one 1/2 off, large cheese pizza $7.95 on Tuesday, 2 dinners for $19.99 and other specials running!

A recent outing had Jeff Eats “trying”- slice of pizza ($2.25), chicken parmesan sub ($7.25), baked ziti with ricotta and mozzarella ($11.95-includes salad and garlic knots), sausage peppers onion- roll ($8.95) and I gotta tell you, Michael’s stuff was dynamite. Absolutely loved everything.

Just so we are on the same page, joints like Michael’s Pizzeria are right up Jeff Eats’ alley. I’m looking for no frills, delicious food, reasonable prices-and Michael’s -is right on the mark.

Let’s wrap this up…

I highly recommend that you give Michael’s Pizzeria a shot.

Michael’s Pizzeria is open Monday-Thursday 11am-10pm, Friday-Saturday noon-11pm, Sunday 1pm-9pm.

    Jeff,
I found Michaels a couple of weeks ago after eating at Charm City which is 3 stores down from it. Although Ive eaten in CC a number of times I never really noticed that a pizza joint was right on the corner. The other day I had a couple of slices at Michael’s and the pizza was a very good NY slice. This is a good place to know about. Definitely going to try their subs as they looked good coming out of the pizza oven.

Hello Jeff, I see you rate pizzerias. I think if you went and tried michaels
pizzeria in Deerfield beach you will find it as close to new York style as you
can get. Especially the Sicilian. I will confess the owner is my brother he
owned a pizzeria in new York years ago and now opened one down here. It’s a
small pizzeria but when you walk in it will give you that classic new York
feeling as when you walk in one in new York. Keep in mind it’s a pizzeria /
restaurant. Not fine dining. He personally makes his own rice balls, meatballs,
and eggplant. Also his soup of the day is made by him personally. Thank you I
sure hope you will try it. And above all his pizza is not greasy or oily. He
only uses the top of the line products. This is your classic neighborhood
    pizzeria!!!

You are obviously not a Jeff Eats reader.

Reviewed your brother’s joint on 7/2/14.

Thanks for reading, or should I say not reading…
