* Join Us For A Gourmet Meal At Ruth’s Chris.

This morning, Jeff Eats received in the mail an unsolicited postcard offering a “complimentary gourmet meal” – at Ruth’s Chris, 225 Northeast Mizner Boulevard, Boca Raton, Florida 33432 at 6pm on any of 1-of 3-dates…Wednesday, April 23, 2014–Tuesday, April 29, 2014–Thursday, May 1, 2014.

Jeff Eats and an invited guest are entitled to the meals(s) immediately following “Understanding Different Retirement Plans” presented by Arlene Orkin.

Jeff Eats has absolutely no idea who Arlene Orkin is…

To qualify, Jeff Eats has to be at least 55 and I can’t be a financial agent/broker/or advisor.

To get this free-deal–all Jeff Eats has to do is confirm my reservation at 1-800-853-0492.

Now the big question-?

What’s gonna be served!!

    Jeff,
Pretty common mailing down here in south Florida. These guys are fishing for clients. Every so often these gimmicks catch a live one. Years ago I and a bunch of friends went to one. Total sales pitch. We didn’t bite. The meal which was at a hotel in Fort Lauderdale was shall we say not the best items on the menu.

You’d be surprised at how many people will take these folks up on the offer. A ton of retired folks have nothing to do with their time and the prospect of a free meal gets them to sign up.

Once they get there you are on their phone list. They pester you like crazy once they have fed you. Ruth’s Chris has great food.

They won’t be serving you the $52 filet mignon, guaranteed!
Now if they did this meeting at NY Prime I’d consider going. Maybe even Abe & Louie’s.

What’s going to be served is a huge sales pitch to get you to do business with them.
Tons of people go to these meals for the free meals. They have no intention of signing up.
No question about it they won’t be serving those big bone in rib eyes. Maybe a piece of roast beef and a baked potato. better than nothing. I guess.

Went to one of those at Fifth Avenue Grill, and trust me – they did NOT serve the type of food we were expecting. More like a TV dinner, pls give an update after you go! I’m curious, about the food that is. I sat through an hour lecture on why I should have a magnetic mattress pad, lol.

Get a google voice number or something. Don’t give your real phone number. Ruth Chris will probably give them a turnkey meal but it should be ok. Get the free eats and get out.

Most of these comments are pretty rude. Everyone needs to make a living.

Those flyers come in the mail all the time. Jokers looking for business. I say we round up a ton of homeless folks and bring them as guests.
