***** Sh-Boom *****

I don’t want you guys to think that I’m a bookworm or something…but I just finished a terrific book, “Sh-Boom” written by Clay Cole.

For you guys who don’t know who Clay Cole is (“was”)…Clay was New York City’s “version” of Dick Clark from 1953-1968.

If you like Rock N’ Roll…Cole has written a no-holds-barred book detailing the inner-workings and personalities that most of us have never heard before.

An absolutely great read.

I personally know Clay Cole. First met him back in 1960. Clay is a multi talented guy. Can sing, dance, act and was a great tv personality. He was always overshadowed by the far less talented Dick Clark who incidentally can’t or couldn’t hold a candle to Clay.
I got this book on Amazon and it is a sensational inside read on rock n roll.

I owe you a pastrami on rye, a half-and-half pickle and a Dr Brown’s Celery Tonic!
My thanks for the kind words; I am so happy you enjoyed the book.
I’ll be in-and-out of Florida in 2010 — you can collect on that lunch. Just name the place.
