Scully’s Restaurant (Boynton Beach)

Posted on October 27th, 2008 · American Boynton Beach Breakfast

*****  Scully’s Restaurant, 2005 South Federal Highway, Boynton Beach, Florida 33435 (561) 733-4782.

Scully’s is the perfect “diner” joint. If you go to Scully’s website at www.scullysrestaurant.com you will find menu/prices/pictures which will give you a pretty good idea as to what this place is all about.

Whether you eat inside or dine on the “gorgeous out-door patio” (I am being facetious here)…as speeding cars on Federal Highway go-by…Scully’s is a great joint for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This neighborhood restauarnt has been around for years and has a huge local following. Its menu is loaded with breakfast specials, appetizers, burgers, salads, soups, sandwiches, seadood/chicken/meat entrees and desserts all at very reasonable prices.

I am telling you…looking at this joint from the road, you wouldn’t give it a second thought. Over the years, I am sure that literally millions of people have driven by not realizing that they have passed up some of the most delicious burgers, prime ribs, crab-cakes and fried shrimp down here.

You now know about one of the best roadside diners in all of South Florida.

Scully’s is open Sunday-Thursday 7am-9pm and Friday-Saturday 7am-10pm.

Hey jeff, Scully’s makes a really great burger. I have been eating there for years and really missed it when it was going through its recent renovation. Glad to see everything is back to normal. Everyone should try the burgers.

Been to Scully’s lots of times and everything has always been great! The burgers are No. 1. Tuna sandwiches, clam chowder and Cubans also outstanding. And the pancakes melt in your mouth!

Group of us ate at Scully’s last night. The food was just okay nothing really great. I personally had the roast beef and it was far from sensational. The steak fries however were very good. Just thought you’d like another opinion.

Service was good, our 2 burgers were cooked alittle too much for medium rare, almost well done. I would have given it a second chance, but just before we left the owner Kevin came in. The way he talks and treats his staff is the reason I would never go back. We added to our waitresses tip just for dealing with him.
