Orient Palace serves up solid Chinese Food. The joint (located on North Federal Highway) ain’t doing NYC Chinatown quality, but all in all the food is-pretty good. A recent dinner…wonton soup, roast pork fried rice, spare ribs, egg roll, sweet & sour chicken was just fine!.. Orient Palace is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.
Now for the “go figure” part of the story…Orient Palace also has a take-out only joint located at 3013 Yamato Road, Boca Raton, Florida (561) 241-9933 which makes food that is borderline inedible and I really mean that.
Go figure…
I normally get food from Bamboo Wok in Boca. Last night because of logistics got food from Orient Plaza on Yamato. What a dumb move. Wonton soup tasted like a salt mine. Ribs as tough and tasteless as can be. Also had gen tso chicken bland.
I stopped going to Orient in Boca when I heard and then tried Bamboo Wok. Bamboo is by far and away imho the best Chinese takeout in Boca.
I never could understand this. I tried the takeout place on Yamato after enjoying many meals at the one that used to be on Federal Never went back. Truly disgusting food.
