Lucille’s Bad To The Bone BBQ (Boca Raton & Delray Beach)
***** Lucille’s Bad To The Bone BBQ, 3011 Yamato Road, Boca Raton, Florida, (561) 997-9557 & 710 Linton Boulevard, Delray Beach, Florida, (561) 330-6706.
Friends of mine, swear by this joint which has 2 locations. They rave about the ribs, chicken, pulled pork etc. Over the years I have eaten in the Boca Raton location at least 20 times. Personally, I think that the food is just okay, nothing more and nothing less…nothing to write home about. Just so you know, the Boca joint is located about a minute drive from my home, so convenience more than anything else has played a role in my eating there.
Have you ever wondered why there are no NATIONAL BBQ CHAINS? The reason: Every region in the country seems to have its own favorite bbq style/taste. Personally, I don’t care for smoked-products and like Chinese styled bbq ribs.
Like I said before, Lucille’s isn’t one of my favorites…that said, maybe Lucille’s makes bbq ribs/chicken that will please your tastebuds. The joint is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

nothing great
Agree with all of the above. Just OK. Right about BBQ being regional. Was in North Carolina . Statesville BBQ fair or something. Everything vinegar… awful stuff !
i like their grilled chicken and sweet potato fries.
The food is ok. Not much more than that.
Jeff, Like you I live close to the Boca store. The bbq ribs and bbq chicken are passable but that’s it.
The next closest bbq joint to my home is about 15 minutes drive one way. It’s Park Avenue and is much better than Lucille’s. The only reason my wife and I get food from Lucille’s is because of the convenience.
ok, but nothing great there
food is good.
They recently added wings to the menu. The wings are good. They are as good as the bigger players, Hurricane and Buffalo.
good burgers, they also recently added a real good chicken pot pie.
Had st lous ribs last night.
they were tough and not very good.
the food is second rate.
First time eating there last night. Food is not the best. bbq ribs were tough and stringy. corn nibblets had no taste whatsoever. the french fries were ok but nothing great. won’t be back.
nothing special going on here. mediocre food.
The lint on blvd location has been closed for quite some time.
Food is fair. That’s this story.
ok food but thats about it
had their bbq ribs and bbq chicken. nothing great. pa in boca is better.
got to agree just barely passable bbq chicken and ribs.
Ribs are pretty good.
Cute looking place.
They have a food truck. The trucks food is better than the restaurants food.
Just average food at best.
Took out ribs and chicken last night. Okay food but nothing special.
My wife and I ate dinner there last night. Bbq ribs, bbq chicken, ff, onion rings. The food was just fair. Nothing special there. We won’t be back.
Just passable.
Not very good.
My husband and I ate in the location at the Delray Marketplace. The food, babybacks, bbq chicken, ff, mac & cheese, onion straws, sweet potato was all good. Service was lousy. Saw the waitress once when she took the order and when she brought the check. Never was seen during the meal.
Last night 6 of us ate at the Boca location.
Ribs and chicken were good as were the French fries. Mac & Cheese and mini corn muffins were lousy. Both had virtually no flavor. Store Manager refused to honor a measly $5 coupon we presented on one of our phones telling us that the coupon had to have previously been forwarded to the store by email from us. Total bullshit story. Believe we didn’t need the discount but the Manager’s piss poor attitude in just not deducting $5 from a $150 bill lost this restaurant 6 customers. It’s stupid managers like this that ruin owners’ businesses.
The food in Boca is average at best.
Love their bbq ribs and chicken. I am a steady customer at their Delray Marketplace location.
My wife and I have been eating in the Boca Raton store since day one. The food is good and the prices are fair.
