Park Avenue is a small “local” South Florida bbq chain. I have lost count on how many there are, but 7 or 8 units sounds about right. Over the years I have eaten in 3 of its locations a total of something like 35 times and taken out so much food, that it’s amazing that I haven’t had to have an angioplasty done. Anyway…my last Park Avenue outing was last night (at the Boynton Beach location) and I have to tell you, that the this joint’s baby-back ribs and bbq chicken are absolutely delicious. This joint also makes corn-fritters doused in powder sugar that are terrific.
Do yourself a favor and visit a location in your area. Delicious food. Big portions. Pleasant and efficient waiters/waitresses. All kinds of menu “price specials.” Park Avenue is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. If you wear anything dressier than tee shirt/shorts you will look silly.
My husband and I eat all of the time in the PA located in Lake Worth which is the original location. It was an old Denny’s. The food is great. We have also tried the Boynton Beach spot and the Delray Beach store which recently closed. This is a very well run business and the waiters are very pleasant. Everyone should try PA.
Took food out from PA in Lake Worth the other night. Ribs, corn, bbq chicken, corn fritters and texas toast. Everything was great. When I am down in Boca Raton I also enjoy ribs and bbq chicken at Mississippi Ribs located on Federal Highway.

babybacks, corn, corn fritters, ff, food is excellent. so are the prices.
$10.95 full rack of babybacks with 2 sides i had corn on cob and mac & cheese and corn bread. delicious. can’t beat this monday night special

coming to boca at dixie and glades
went to the one in Stuart by the bridge..did not like the food at all. It smelled funny. All the cops ate there and told us on the way in that the food was great but I didn’t fishin the food. Maybe it was just a bad day.
