Nino’s Pizzeria & Restaurant (Boca Raton & Delray Beach)
***** Nino’s Pizzeria & Restaurant, 7120 Beracasa Way, Boca Raton, Florida 33433, (561) 392-9075—&—13900 South Jog Road, Delray Beach, Florida 33445, (561) 499-3988
Nino’s is one of my favorite “mom and pop” Southern Italian joints in South Florida. I could be going out on a limb here, but I think that after you have tried this joint, you will also become a big fan.
Just so you know, the Boca Raton location has been around for something like 25 years…the Delray Beach location has been in business for about 3 years. Over the years, I have eaten in the Boca location something like 30 times and the Delray location twice…although the menus are almost identical, I like the food, ambiance and service in the Boca restaurant better…call me a creature of habit, but I really feel at home when I enter the Boca joint…from the way I am greeted at the front door, to Nino the owner waving and talking from behind the pizza counter to the customers…the food and service in Delray Beach is just fine, but there is something “special” about the Boca location.
Although Nino’s seemingly “follows” the standard pattern…Soup or salad, garlic rolls, entree with a pasta side…this joint makes some of the most delicious dishes and pizza that you have ever eaten. I would personally match its veal chop parmigiana—bone in chicken cacciatore— bone in chicken scapriello—shrimp scampi entrees against any Italian restaurant down here in South Florida.
Like I said before, Nino’s has been around for something like 25 years. The Boca Raton joint is jammed for dinner 7-days a week and has a takeout business that seems to be never ending. The Delray Beach spot has also developed quite a following…but my heart belongs to the Boca joint. Both joints are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.
Great food. Great service. Pizza joint prices…
By the way, Nino and his wife Josephine own Josephine’s Italian Restaurant which is located on Federal Highway in Boca Raton. That’s a story for another day…but Josephine’s is a very good “white table cloth” joint.
Pizza is okay but I like Dominick’s I by the turnpike in Boca better.
boca nino’s veal chop parm is excellent.
Siciallian pizza is one the best I ever had. If you don’t want dough, order the thin crust. (which is also excellant, if thats what you like)
I think that Nino’s has one of the best pizza slices around.
Just like the one I use to get in my Bx days as a kid. Of course it doesn’t cost 20 cents but the taste is great.
For the money you can’t beat Nino’s veal chop parm. Delicious and priced just right.
I’ve been getting that veal chop parm for years. Delicious and priced just right.
Boca original and newer delray are both really good.
I recommend Boca to my friends all the time. Consistently good.
i like the food better in delray than the original boca store,
My neighbors tell me about all of these pizza joints in Boca. As far as I’m concerned Nino’s has the best pizza in the area.
All three Nino’s have terrific food.
My favorite dish is their veal chop parmigiana for 20 bucks. It’s as good as the chop that goes for 40 bucks in other places.
Boca Nino’s makes a great ny style pizza.
Love delray and palmetto boca stores. Never tried boca fed hwy store but I’m sure food is like the other to that being delicious.
Eat at Boca store on Palmetto.
Always good.
Bercasa store has delicious food.
One of the best NY style pizzas going.
Jeff,
Have to rate Nino’s in Boca to be one of the best red sauce joints in the area.
My wife and I have been eating there for years and the food is consistently good.
They also make a terrific NYC STYLE pizza that could hold its own against anything in the 5 boros.
Agree 100% one of the top red sauce joints in Florida.
Like you Ive been going there for years and they always have great food.
Consistently good.
Delicious NY Style pizza.
I use to eat pretty regularly at Nino’s in Boca. I stopped eating there about 6 months ago. The food was always good same for the prices. The reason I quit the place is that I think the owner takes his customers for granted. All the times I ate there not even once did the owner offer to buy me a dessert or anything else. Every so often something should be on the house to show a steady customer that you appreciate him.
The Boca store is better than the one in Delray.
The food in Boca is very good.
Food is very good.
Like others here, regular steady customers never shown any favoritism. To the owner, every so often buy the table a glass wine or dssert. It’s good pr.
Boca Nino’s is my go to place. Always delicious food.
I have been eating at Nino’s in Boca for years. The food and service are always terrific.
Boca has very good food. Love the veal chop parm.
Boca is a terrific rest.
Jeff, I enjoy both Boca and Delray. Both have excellent food and you can’t beat the prices.
Boca’s pizza is terrific.
I like both delray and boca. I know they have different owners but the food is very good in both locations.
The veal chop parmigiana is to die for..
Love the food in Delray. Great prices.
Nino’s in Boca is consistently good.
love the boca store. delicious veal chop parmigiana.
Boca makes fabulous on the bone chicken cacciatore.
The Boca loc was mobbed tonight.
They make a veal chop parm for $21 that can’t be beat. It’s huge and delicious.
MSAS, I get that veal chop everytime I eat there. It is delicious.
Boca store is terrific.
I live 5 minutes away so no need to travel to Delray.
I have been eating at Nino’s in Boca for at least 20 years. The food is consistently good. Service is always good. This is one of the best red sauce restaurants in the area. As someone else mentioned Nino’s veal chop parm is a terrific dish. I also love its chicken scarp and cacciatore both on the bone which is rare to find, as most places don’t have chicken on the bone.
Love Boca location.
Food is always delicious.
Jeff
Had a chicken scarp on the bone that was fabulous.
Consistently excellent food and service.
I love the veal chop parm.
Food is the best in Boca.
