I remember these Chiclet Gum Machines!
You’d put a penny in the slot for the flavor gum you wanted then spin the large metal knob and two Chiclets would drop down in the holder in a
a small cardboard box. They were on almost every column on the subway platforms. These machines were red and they had a mirror on them. I remember they were in the subways in the 50’s and in the 60’s up till around 1964.
My name is Jeff. I was born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. Since 1991, I have lived in South Florida and have eaten in so many restaurants down here, that I now consider myself to be a food expert.
