The Forbidden Love Story Of Bobby Darin & Connie Francis
This musical tells the tragic love story of two Italian-American music icons, Bobby Darin and Connie Francis. This unforgettable show blends heartfelt storytelling, authentic dialogue, and all of their greatest hits, brought to life with Broadway-quality musicians and performances. Fresh from the Off-Broadway stages of NYC, Forbidden Love stars Westchester’s own Vanessa Racci as Connie and Charlie Romo as Bobby, turning the pages of their autobiographies into a moving theatrical experience filled with true anecdotes, timeless music, and show-stopping talent!
Review: “Together, these two vocalists, with a penchant for the vintage, have created a program that allows them to show off superb vocals and their love for the two star-crossed lovers of their idolatry.” – Stephen Mosher, Broadway World ‘23
Jeff,
Just got 2.
You do know that Connie was local. My wife and I saw here several times in the audience.
She was a great one.
Anthony Franza,
Right you are, over the years Connie was spotted at various venues.
Personally, I met up with Connie at Kings Point Delray, The Boca Black Box a couple of times, the Hard Rovk Hotel in Hollywood at an Awards show honoring Neil Sedaka and again at the HR where we were both on a committee for a childrens charity.
Very talent and sweet woman.
Never met Bobby Darin. That said, Mrs. Jeff Eats’s sister Irma in her younger days dated Bobby Darin.
Talk about talent! From what I understand he was being groomed and positioned to be the next Frank Sinatra. Unfortunately he passed too soon.
By the way, I have seen the stars of this show in different venues. They both are real good.
Thanks for reading,
Jeff Eats

The show is also booked for The Delray Beach Playhouse.
I have tickets for the PBCC.
