Got a real good bagel joint for you guys to checkout, Long Island Bagel Cafe in Boca Raton.
Short tale to tell, yesterday afternoon Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats “discovered” 2-month old Long Island Bagel Cafe and the joint’s food absolutely killed! Order/pickup at counter, inside/outside table seating, reasonably priced full boat deli-bagel (including a chopped salad bar) menu.
Trust me – you guys will definitely find what to eat at this joint! Before I forget, Long Island Bagel Cafe currently has 8 Long Island/New York joints and the Boca Raton location is its first shot at the Florida market!

Let’s wrap-up Long Island Bagel Cafe by saying, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats were like 2- kids in a candy store- and you guys gotta try this joint!
Long Island Bagel is open 7 days a week 6am- 4pm.

Very recently it seems that everyday a new bagel joint opens, For example, Bagels With, Bagel Boss, H&H, Jeff’s Bagel Run, and the latest is Long Island.It just seems to me, that like yohurt by the ounce and gormet burgers there are going to be some huge losers coming.
I was thinking the samething. Way too many players coming to Boca Raton.
My husband and I gave it a try last week and thought that the bagels were very good. Same for the tuna salad and nova that we bought. You are so right, the selection is gigantic.
At your suggestion my husband and I tried Long Island earlier today. My pumpernickel with scallion cream cheese and his ET with nova were both delicious.
You are correct, like 2 kids in a candy store.
