PERFORMER BIO:
Since 2013, one of the most accurate and entertaining tribute acts in the country. THoRR brings to life the look and sound of Huey Lewis so accurately it’s uncanny. With unforgettable hits like, “Hip To Be Square” “Stuck With You” “I Want A New Drug” “If This Is It” “The Power of Love” and of course, “The Heart of Rock & Roll” the show is a non-stop multimedia ride through all of HLN’s biggest hits in a colorful concert experience complete with exciting video imagery, costume changes and engaging audience interaction.
“It was a surreal experience. The attention to detail, both vocally and every other way was astounding” – Sean Hopper, Co-Founder, Huey Lewis & The News

The show which features Huey Lewis’ music recently opened on Broadway.
The tribute band coming to Arts Garge looks amazing.
Definitely getting tickets for this one.
Just got 2 tickets.
This show looks great.
Jeff,
Great booking agency write up for the band…
2023 marks the ten-year anniversary for America’s #1 tribute to 80s icons Huey Lewis & The News. The Heart of Rock & Roll (THoRR, for short) goes beyond mere tribute with a frontman who brings to life the look and sound of Huey Lewis so accurately it’s uncanny. The show is a non-stop multimedia ride through all of HLN’s biggest hits in a colorful and exciting concert complete with video elements, costume changes and engaging audience interaction. THoRR has headlined coast to coast bringing HLN’s infectious blend of rock, pop, blues and soul to audiences of all ages. With unforgettable hits like, “Hip To Be Square” “Stuck With You” “I Want A New Drug” “The Power of Love” and of course, “The Heart of Rock & Roll.” THoRR also covers hits by other artists just as Huey did in their shows. Classics like “The Boys Are Back in Town” “Some Kind of Wonderful” and “But It’s Alright” are sure to please even those non-hardcore Huey fans. The Heart of Rock & Roll has firmly established itself as one of the most accurate and entertaining tribute acts in the country. The news is spreading across the nation and the message is clear. The Heart of Rock & Roll is still beating
Jeff,
My husband and I are going to the show.
If you are going, we would love to say hello to you.
Mrs. Tendler,
Just had a chance to read your comment.
Jeff Eats, Mrs. Jeff Eats and a few dear friends will be there. We have a 6 seat table in the front row.
Please feel free to stop by.
Thanks for reading,
Jeff Eats
This band is terrific.
I saw them last year at The Villages.
Don’t miss the show.
Jeff,
My wife and I are seeing the group at The Villages the night before the Arts Garage Show.
The band looks great.
Saw the band earlier this evening. Talent wise, the lead singer looks like Lewis and sounds just like Lewis. The 6 other members are super talented.
I enjoyed the show, but I did have one problem, all of Lewis songs they did, sounded alike. Their covers were great, but almost 90 minutes, the songs ran into each other,
The band did a couple of songs by other artists, terrific covers and the crowd was singing along. Those songs went over better than most of Lewis’ hits.
Jeff,
It was nice meeting you and Mrs. Jeff Eats at the show,
The band was terrific.
My only negative on the show is that when you play all of Huey Lewis’ hits back to back, they all sound alike. Same horns etc.
The band has to add in more covers that Lewis did to break up the sameness that I just mentioned.
By the way, the Broadway show is closing.
From what I read, the critics thought it was like a poor man’s Grease.
Really enjoyed the show.
The leads singer is about as close as you can come to seeing the real Huey Lewis.
Jeff,
Loved the show.
First time for my wife and I seeing a show at Arts Garage.
Great venue and the staff was also terrific.
Looking forward to seeing more shows there,
The 7 piece band was really good.
They did great Huey Lewis covers.
They also did a few covers of other artists,
Jeff
They put on quite a show up here at The Villages.
