Great Value Mild Italian Sausage (Walmart Supercenter- Delray Beach)

I don’t know about you guys- but when I’m thinking- gas grilled Mild Italian Sausages, the name Walmart doesn’t exactly pop into old Jeff Eats’ head!
Simple tale to tell…
Yesterday afternoon, I came across “packages” of Great Value Mild Italian Sausage ($8.97/ 12 Links, 2 lb 13 oz Fresh)in the meat department of the Walmart Supercenter, 16205 South Military Trail, Delray Beach, Florida 33484, (561) 495-8127- and figured I’d roll the dice- and bought a package!
Just threw the sausages covered with Sweet Baby Ray’s Original Barbecue Sauce on my gas grill for 20 minutes and- trust me, outrageously delicious!
Absolutely amazing what you can “discover” at Walmart, while checking-out the get-ups that some of its customers go shopping in!

By the way, for you guys who don’t know, Great Value is Walmart’s house brand!
For you guys who like to check ingredients, check-away!
$8.97 is a great price.

Just thought you’d like to know that based on your review this morning I purchased 4 packages of these sausages, and 2 large bottles of Baby Ray’s Original BBQ Sauce as my contribution to my neighborhood’s July 4th BBQ and the sausages were a gigantic hit with everyone.

Barbecued these sausages last night. Along with some $2.99 lb beef ribs that I got at The Fresh Market using Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce and both came out delicious.Throw in some corn on the cob and big salad and my wife and I had a delicious gas grilled dinner.

Walmart also carries Premio Sausage. Same price. Give Sweet Italian Sausage a try. I like Great Value, but love Premio.
