Stars of the Sixties return to FAU with 5 big acts! For the first time at FAU in 9 years we are proud to present The Brooklyn Bridge (“The Worst That Could Happen”, “Welcome Me Love”, “Blessed is the Rain”). They will be joined by The Vogues (“You’re the One”, “My Special Angel”, “Five o’Clock World”, “Turn Around, Look at Me”), Dennis Tufano, singing all the songs he made famous as the lead singer of the Buckinghams (“Kind of Drag”, “Don’t You Care”, “Susan”, “Hey Baby! They’re Playing Our Song”, “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy”, “Back in Love Again”), The Cyrkle (“Red Rubber Ball”, “Turn Down Day”), and Chris Ruggiero will make a special guest appearance following his rise to fame on PBS-TV, singing 60s favorites you know and love. Don’t miss this all-star sixties reunion!
Looking forward to seeing what the Brooklyn Bridge is like without Maestro on lead.
Me too.
Maestro, Cauchi and Ferrara who were the front 3 have all passed away.
Just received the following email which concerns a change in performers with The Vogues replacing The Association who were originally scheduled to appear. Just so you know, The Association was/is a fantastic act, that said, I recently saw The Vogues and The re-configured Brooklyn Bridge and both groups put on a terrific show!
A recent Vogues’ appearance…

Hello patrons,
Thank you for supporting the Stars of the Sixties Vol. 4! Below is a message from the Praia Entertainment Group about a change in performers for the upcoming show.
“A message from Praia Entertainment Group:
Due to illness, The Association will not be able to appear as planned.
The Vogues (one of the few vocal groups from the sixties who actually had MORE hits than the Association) will appear in their place, singing all of their hits like “You’re the One”, “My Special Angel”, “Five o’Clock World”, “Turn Around, Look at Me” and more!”
If you have any questions or concerns about your tickets, feel free to call us at 561-297-6124. We look forward to having you at the show!

Jeff,
The Vogues video is terrific. They really sound just like the originals.
Absolutely loved The Vogues’ video. The group had huge hits and the current lineup really does justice to the songs.
POP ROCK is a premier promoter. Ive seen a number of its shows and they have all been outstanding. Give this show a shot, I’ll bet you that this show is a huge winner.
By the way, I’ve seen the entire lineup and they were all terrific. I know all about original members etc,, just give the acts a chance and I think you will really enjoy yourself.
By the way, The current Vogues are incredible!
IVE SEEN THE VOGUES AND THEY ARE TERRIFIC. YOU WILL SWEAR THAT THEY ARE LIP SYNCHING FROM THEIR HIT RECORDS, THAT’S HOW GOOD THEY ARE.
My bf and I recently saw The Brooklyn Bridge and the band put on a great show. I know that when you hear Brooklyn Bridge, Johnny Maestro immediately comes to mind. Well, I just wanted you folks to know that the band with ‘new’ lead singer Joe Esposito definitely gets the job done.
Saw the Bridge a few months ago and the band put on a great show. For sure, Maestro was the greatest, but Joe ‘bean” Esposito who sings lead handled things just fine.
Just bought 2 tickets ROW C dead center.
Loved the entire show.
The Vogues were absolutely great.
My wife and I really enjoyed the show. Only problem, The Brooklyn Bridge wasn’t given enough time to sing many of their greatest hits.
Good show.
The Vogues were terrific.
