One of pop music’s most talented and enduring groups, Jay Siegel’s Tokens have remained popular generation after generation. They started out as a bunch of guys in Brooklyn singing doo-wop on street corners and in school bathrooms and ended up accomplishing extraordinary fame.

They had their first music break onto the pop charts in 1961 with Tonight I Fell In Love which reached No. 11 on the Billboard charts, followed by their all-time hit of The Lion Sleeps Tonight which became No. 1 and sold more than one million copies. They continue to tour around the world bringing their classic sound to fans both old and new.

Opening for Jay Siegel’s Tokens is the very funny comedian, Eddie Capone. Eddie is noted for
his wonderful ad-libbing and interaction with an audience.

Real simple and short story for you guys…

Last night, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats and 381 of our closest friends saw a terrific comedy show at the Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton- headlined by Grammy nominated Comedian- Bobby Collins…Comedian- Eddie Capone opened.

Collins and Capone worked “clean” and killed for close to 2-hours! Their respective acts-perfectly complemented one another.

I just wanted to mention- that Capone, himself a Boca Raton resident, regularly appears at South Florida clubs/casinos/events- is a performer- that you definitely should make it your business to go-see. Trust Jeff Eats on this one, Capone’s’ opening 35 minutes was headliner- quality…the guy really knows how to work a room!
