Prezzo (Boca Raton)

Posted on May 6th, 2019 · Boca Raton Italian Pizza

Prezzo, 5560 North Military Trail, Boca Raton, Florida 33496, (561) 314-6840.

You guys know that this Jeff Eats’ gig is purely a subjective exercise- you know…what I love, you may hate and vice versa- with that in mind…

Two Sundays ago, Jeff Eats, Mrs. Jeff Eats, Daughter Jeff Eats, Son Jeff Eats and Son Jeff Eats’ Girlfriend- ate dinner at Prezzo- and I gotta tell you, that we all agreed that this Italian joint’s food was mediocre at best and that its service was as incompetent and amateurish as could be. Let me go one step further and say- that Prezzo was one of the worst Italian restaurants that Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats have eaten in during our 27 year Florida residency! Just for starters, off the top of my head, Prezzo’s pizza, wood oven roasted chicken wings and chicken parmesan were exceptionally bad news!

Like I said a few seconds ago, this Jeff Eats’ gig is purely a subjective exercise- you know…what I love, you may hate and vice versa- so you can do whatever you’d like with this review!

For you folks into Homemade English Muffin Pizza type food and Three Stooges’ (calling Doctor Howard, Doctor Fine, Doctor Howard) type service…

Prezzo is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. You can checkout Prezzo’s menu/prices/info at prezzoboca.com.

    Jeff
The 3 Stooges were brilliant comedic actors.

The waitstaff are literally a bunch of college kids playing waiter.

    Lousy food and unprofessional service.

    Visiting from Montreal.
Ate there last night with my family (wife, 3 kids 8 10 13).
    Ate outside.
Food was okay. Definitely nothing special.
    Service was okay.
Saving grace for me and my wife, outdoor seating because of the kids.

    Jeff,
My wife and I live a 5 minute walk away from Prezzo.
Over the past 3 years we have eaten there at least a dozen times. Personally, the food is okay, same for the service, but nothing outstanding. What we enjoy, is that it has a huge outdoor patio dining area and on certain nights a pop band.

As you know years ago in a different Boca Raton location and different owner there was the first Prezzo which was a fabulous restaurant.

    Happy Holiday,
    Frank Lek

    New to the area.
Last night, First time eating at Prezzo.
Chose it because of outdoor patio and we could bring our dog.

My husband ordered chicken parm with pasta side. Not very good. Ordered a smash burger. Okay, but not the best.

Other than the outdoor patio, there is no reason why would be back for round 2.

Earlier today my wife and I went to a Thanksgiving dinner at a neighbor’s home. The food came from Prezzo. Rather than going into deatil, let’s just say that the food was lousy. One dish that was beyond lousy was the chic chicken Milanese. For reference we ate at Prezzo During COVID because of its outdoor patio. Had basicall forgotten how lousy the food was since then, but today’s meal brought back those bad days.

Being Italian, I kind of think I know at age 67 what good Italian food is all about.
Last night, i ate at Prezzo. Let ‘s just say leave I won ‘t be back.

If my wife and I didnt have a dog we would never eat atPrezzo. Its outdoor patio is the only reason we go there. Food is lousy. Service is also lousy.

    Food is crap.
Service is a bunch of college kids playing waitress and waiters.
How this joint stays in business is beyond me.
