Fran’s Chicken Haven in Boca Raton makes great fried chicken.
I love Church’s Chicken in Dania Beach.
Joe’s Stone Crab In Miami Beach makes terrific fried chicken.
Kennedy Chicken & Grill in Orlando has really good fried and roast chicken.

I’m a huge fan of KFC.
I am shocked no one ever mentions Buds Chicken and Seafood. Been around since late 1950’s and now have 7 locations in PB County. I would put their chicken up against anyone.
Prices are very fair also.
You are right, Bud’s fried chicken is delicious.
I also love Fran’s Chicken Haven’s fried chicken and Joe’s Stone Crab’s fried chicken.
Maryland Fried Chicken is good and their gizzards and livers are the best.

I love the fried chicken at a no a small no frills restaurant named Betty’s Soulfood in Fort Lauderdale.
The one fried chicken that I wouldn’t go near is the crap that Publix makes. Absolute garbage. No consistency to the chicken, sometimes its way too salty the next day it has no salt on it whatsoever. It sits in that heating compartment and dries out. Be smart and just stay away from this crap.
In a pinch my wife will buy a fried chicken at the Publix in Boca Raton at Yamato Road/Jog Road and in all the years (22)) that she’s been doing that I have to say that sometimes it’s good and other times it’s throw up bad. You never know what you’re going to get until you bite into the first piece. As I said, my wife buys this chicken only in a pinch.
Publix fried chicken is terrific. Maybe you got a bad batch.
