Jeannie’s One Stop Diner (Panama City)

Posted on February 28th, 2018 · American Breakfast

***** Jeannie’s One Stop Diner, 14664 Front Beach Road, Panama City, Florida 32413, (850) 230-4342.

Got a real good “mom & pop” diner for you guys to checkout- Jeannie’s One Stop Diner in Panama City.

Pretty basic concept at work here- breakfast/lunch, open 7 days a week 7am-2pm, table seating.

Yesterday, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats found the-joint and I gotta tell you- the breakfast that we had was right on the money!. Delicious food, big portions, reasonable prices, super pleasant service.

Like I said 2 seconds ago, Jeannie’s One Stop Diner is open 7am-2pm. Nice selection of breakfast and lunch stuff, but for sure- not the biggest menu selection in the diner-industry. That said, I’m kinda thinking that you’ll find what to eat and no one in your party is gonna starve or nothing!

You regular Jeff Eats’ readers know that both Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats are huge fans of the “mom & pop” diner concept- here it’s called Jeannie’s One Stop Diner…by you, it may-be called something like Ralph’s Diner, Arnold’s Place or Tom’s Restaurant- I’m sure you get the picture! Small joints that cater to a neighborhood clientele, flat top grills, waiters and waitresses hustling their butts off to make a buck, good solid food, reasonable prices and decors/vibes that scream USA!

Enough pontificating here, Jeff Eats and Mrs. Jeff Eats really enjoyed Jeannie’s One Stop Diner- if you live, work, play or visit Panama City- check it out!.

I get you on the “mom & pop” concept.

    Spot on, on neighborhood diners.

For me, I was raised on George’s Restaurant in Brooklyn.

In NYC we call these mom & pop joints Greek Diners. But you already knew that. These kind of joints are all over NYC, little hole in the walls. My favorite is Joe’s Diner in Manhattan. Maybe it has 12 tables and a small counter. Great food, prices and staff.
