    ***** On The Roxx *****

If you like ’80’s’ music, you absolutely positively got to check out- On The Roxx–a local 5 piece South Florida band which is developing a huge following. Recently caught them at Boston’s On The Beach in Delray Beach–and I am telling you, they are dynamite. Checkout for schedule/videos.

Like I said before DYNAMITE…some of the best covers of Katrina And The Waves, Joan Jett, The Go Go’s, Rick Springfield that I have ever heard. The band has two terrific frontmen–Jack James and Diane DeNoble…they’ll have you believeing that the original artists are in the house.

Just so you know, over the next 3 months the band has 4- free-public appearances set to go…1 in Coconut Creek, 2 in Port Saint Lucie and 1 in West Palm Beach.

Do yourself a solid and catch them, you’ll have a great time.

The problem with the Mardi Gras is that it’s a dirty filthy old run down casino. Why anyone would play there rather than the Hard Rock, Seminole Casino CC, isle etc is beyond me.
You are right the music lineup is terrific. I’m very familiar with a number of acts listed. Ive also eaten burgers in the French Quarter and they are excellent.
The one big negative of this casino is that it looks and feels like a dump when you are there.

    • Gary,
You hit the nail right on the head.
Good music and good food combined with a dumpy atmosphere is a no go for me.
I haven’t been in that rat hole in 2 years.

For crying out loud your not buying the casino.
An hour or 2 of great music and some delicious burgers, that’s the game here.

Terrific music schedule. If this was at the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek I’d be there every night.
The Mardi Gras is a shit hole.
Plain and simple so you won’t be seeing me.

I love On the Roxx, The Fabulons and Orange Sunshine.
All of them play great music.

  5. Jeff,
I had no idea as to how much entertainment the Mardi Gras is offering up. I love the Thursday Night lineup. Ive seen all of the groups and they are all terrific. I have only been to the Mardi Gras twice and that was several years ago, Ive never eaten there and went solely for the big Rock shows they held outside. I am definitely going to get there on one of the upcoming Thursday Nights listed. I’m also going to give their burgers a try. Thanks for the heads up on this one.
